hi guys. i wanna ask if any one of you installed a no cut frame slider for your gen2? What brand, how much and where to get? To what i know a few brands like motovation and evotech, they have to drill a hole at the fairing (correct me if i am wrong). Kinda heartache if i have to do tt.

U want heartache drill hole or heartache if bike falls and fairings crack, endcans scratch? Hehe...

 

Just drill hole la. It won't affect the bike value when u sell mah.

T-rex no cut silders.With sliders on for some owners,looks ugly especially on air brush paint work and for some new bike heartache.

 

Pros and cons,seen and felt on hand the T-rex no cut sliders.Not a fan though.

I just realised the busa is truly not a normal bike... In fact its handling is an epitomy of what a real bike normal bike should feel... Smooth and comfortable...

Not everyone so lucky like you, can ride with a friend riding FJR and your can "tong-pang" all your barang barang in one of his side panniers. lolzz... :cheeky:

niwei just came back from JB.... saw a group of 10 gen1 busa were also riding together...

I've tried cbr600rr 2005. Its a fun, nimble bike. Light weight and even happier to go to corners but can't reallly take the riding posture for a everyday ride. Wife complain rear seat is a killer.

 

Busa is still my dream bike but at that time the cost could buy me a new fazer1000 with oem panniers. That only get me thinking, should I go with this route in the first place.

 

Kind to be detail y fazer is not to ur liking?

 

I too belive busa is a good overall bike. 1000cc up bike all hot lar. As I every tried clear meter once. Its like no effort. The posture too is comfy.

I also ride a busa

rode a ZX11 and BB before

Personally, in terms of comfort with Speed

I must say its the Blackbird... Any pillion who sits on it swears by it

as for the rider.. the engine is smooth.. silky smooth and the power is more than u will ever need for touring

For the busa.. I feel it is a selfish bike. Its you.. crazy power and all alone.

Ive put back my hump on the bike cause the busa is best ridden alone

The power also rips ure shoulders off its sockets and after the ride makes u think

WTF just happened.... I love my Busa :)

The longest Ive ever toured is 6 days

So far all i needed was a Bagster tankbag

I noticed ppl also pack too much things when touring

things I dont bring:

Toiletries (Hotels Have)

towels (Hotels have)

one T-Shirt a day (buy and throw away cheap ones during trip)

shoes ( I use the ICON patrol cause can double up as normal shoes)

 

Things I bring

Underwear

Socks

2 Berms

2 Tshirt

 

I dont fold my clothes. Instead what I do is roll them tightly and pack them.. saves alot of space

As long we are on the same page here of class 2 bikes...

Ex-Fazer1000 n now cbr1000rr belong to my younger brother.

Fazer is like an untamed-bull waiting for a charge... Strong engine for one...

The CBR1000rr11 handles just like our old KR with all the speed and manueverabilty of a race horse(no wonder the honda are champs of 2011 motogp). But its posture is a killer for evrydy riding.

The hayabusa is like a cross breed of bull and horses. At any time u can increase the no. of horse to give more speed. And its so comfortable for one.

My description may not be fully accurate as im a new to the big bike scenes. Share ur views.

can anyone roughly tell me what is the weight for a full tank busa??

 

what is the average market price for busa?? riding a cbr600 now.. have the thoughts of changing but wanna to know alot things 1st before changing.. choosing between a z1000 & fz1000 (sport tourer)
