hello fellow riders , need to ask you guys some question , my ride has been very frustrating. my ride keep jerking nowadays. it's like there is not enough petrol pump in. especially when i try to mantain at 120 onwards , the bike keep jerking and jerking , only when i open full throttle all the way there is no problem. has any bro face this problem before ? i have already change the whole clutch set including the casing and my spokets and chain. what problem can it be ?

i used to like akra, no other choice of pipe was in my mind..

but when i got a busa and start looking into pipes i'm totally disappointed it with.

just my personally point of view, i find the size of it nearly as big stock and doesn't sounds much different from stock pipe too. unless you remove the silencer.

Personally I'm more of a performance then sound person. Would rather have a pipe with same diameter thru out then being smaller at the end.

 

Care to comment on the performance end of the akra?

Fuel pump?

 

my filter was washed in sept at planet for $80/= but still choke after 1week.

 

went to motor factor(alex),done for $150.now ok and well.

 

new filter cost about $450/= if recalled correct.

 

just sharing session..

Not necessary replace whole pump. Can change fuel and general cleaning.

For my case it's the injector as I have pour too much of the injector cleaner in the fuel tank and after I brought it to the shop and clean it up, everything went back to normal. Hope this helped.

i'm not sure if broquet will affect the injector but for my case, a small little dirt in the injector coz the fuel not spraying properly that's y my low rev is jerking but high rev is normal.

Not sure about performance..

But I think just the end can won't do much things..

As I use my 2bros for touring, feel not much different to stock..

Unless is full system plus proper tuned..

IMO, end can are more of like cosmetic..

fuel pump, i dun think can be cleaned...fuel filter can flush reverse flow...

but its not a easy process...

fuel filters are not meant to be cleaned out like air filters.....better to just replace....

 

hhmmmm.....maybe its the grade or the fuel have prob? try a tank of v-power to clear it out?

 

relating car theories to bikes....duno same anot though...

most of the time is the filter clogged....due to rust in tank/dirty fuel

my tank was empty when I pour in then I went to petrol kiosk to fill my tank, that's why, I think.

i think it has to do with your engine settings, tuning not right... worst come to worst have to down engine

hahaha abg i hve m4 in hand currently only for touring use. m4 is shuuperb(; i was thinking of r77-J... i see review like that is the best legal bass....true? akra too long.. hmm
