Hi Ghostie,

I don't mean to offend you, but if you need to ask about the fuel consumption then you might not be ready for this bike.

Another thing is the road tax, it is a 1300cc bike and the tax is about the same as a car.

Just me view, I must stress here again, don't mean to offend you.

It doesn't make any difference whether a motorcyclist has the right-of-way or not, the rider is the one most likely to get hurt.

its okie, i understand.. But is it worth it anot? [/b]

hi the fuel comsumption is abt 16-17km/litre if you go at 4,000 RPM every gear but if you like to rev here rev there, it can go as low as 10.5-11.5km/litre , this is based on my observation on my own busa.

road tax is $500 per year , insurance varies from $1000 to as high as $3000 , depend on your age , road experience and your NCD.

maintaining the bike depends on how often u wan to service the bike, let say some service it every 5000km , for me i do it every 3000km. then still the cost may be higher if you wan to use the best of everything rather than normal range one. another thing to add on , tyre and brake pad goes rather fast cos the bikes is heavy.:goodluck:

12.5k for a FS busa , u need to take into account the interest rate for the reloan unless u wan to pay full. the insurance if you buy direct from owner and when does the rd tax finish. if you are not rushing for time, then look around more busa maybe you get a better deal.

busa now is not really in demand as there are a lot of new super 1 litre bike, unlike when it first come out.

if you really like the bike then it worth everything, including negative comment from others that dun like busa, usually pple tend to say that busa rider are posers but dun really care abt them.:slapforehead:

u be surprise that the busa is in fact very agile for a bike it size , people say busa can't concer but i heard of cases where people bua fairing and not footrest on the busa, depend on the tyre and your courage

hope you join the busa family .

I agree to all that Ah Teck have said except 1 point. Busa is not losing it's demand, but alot of non Bikers, I say this not to offend anyone, are riding them and sell them so very soon that people are starting to question if Busa is a good bike to own. I would definately willing to pay about $14k - $15k for a really well maintain Busa. Meaning to say it's best if you know who the previous owners are and how they have been treating their bikes. I mean in maintainence etc.

Some of the Busa owners here really maintain their Busas well. Look at Busas belonging to people like Hayabusa Sniper, Diablo Busa etc. You can't really tell that they are more than 4 yrs of age. I have seen a barely 1 yr old Busa that look worst than a 2yrs Busa. Ah Teck for instance, have really keep up the look of the Busa.

You may think looks are only visual, but think about it. Will a Biker take care of internal engine if the external parts are not taken care? Or do you think a Biker will take care of external parts and not bothering with internal? It may sound profound but read it carefully, you will know what I mean.

Just my 2cents worth. I rather contribute to such post than those shooting.Hahaha......

CHEERS:sweat:

thanks for the tall hat :cheeky: Can tell ur affection towards busa :D The shooting part is actually between frens that we know well and mainly kind of showing close relation jokes between us (example u, sgbiker,BNT,CKC etc..) I dun mind the shooting part so long I know the true identity of the person rather than someone who hide behind the nick especially those that I know. Tell e person if he/she think e person had offended him/her, dun just hide behind the nick like a sissy and e person will never know in anyway. Agree with me? :D Thats all I've to say

Finally, a topic i can contribute to...

Teck, heard tat u coming back soon. looking forward to riding with u.

FaT8usaChap, dun keep commending abt othr ppl's Busa. Urs is still in "mint" condition. Ur Busa will still cost $25k until ur COE expires from the way u take care of it.

My point is, i'd rather pay more on a well-maintained bike than to end up paying more for repairs. My Busa, when i got it, had already served 2 biker. Luckily i have friends like Teck, Fat8usaChap, Hayabusa-sniper etc to help advise me on the beast's maintanence. I ended up with a Busa tat surprises many ppl... (Bro: 174........)

hey hey hey Hayabusa Sniper....

I still remember all the help you hv given me, even those tat does not concern our beasts (thx for the BKK help last year)

Anyway i dun ride my Busa tat often oready coz SG rd is not worthy of my Busa with all those lousy drivers who think that bikes r to be bullied. I actually saw Caramon's posting and BOY!!! he/she spoke out what i've always wanted to say. If I wan to ride in M'sia then I need to take leave lah... all those SH#*... but there will be a chance to ride wif u, fren.

Advise to all those up & coming Hayabusa riders(not owners): Take good care of your busas & they will reward u well. U want speed, u got speed (but must hv balls of STEEL).:cheeky: Maneuverability, look at Hayabusa Sniper & FaT8usaChap Busa's tyres and u will noe. SPORTY bikes will keep on changing every year but the BUSA will alwiz b the bike to take ur breathe away. and shrink whatever balls u hv. :thumb: :thumb: :thumb:

hi Diablo_Busa yup not selling , think and think , and think it rather stupid for me to sell cos i really can't bear with it and since it fully paid for , i dun have to worried abt the instalment so deciede to keep my love haha . also can't bear to leave u guys so for u guys , i'm still around. end of this year i finish my studiess so should have more time .

from i got my busa until now there no regrets and there never will be . the only regret that i have is that i have little time riding due to my work and study.
