I don't think the Honda Monkey was ever legal on Singapore road. You could have mistaken that for the Yamaha LB50 Chappy which is legal on the road.

It was many many years back since LTA has stopped legalising 50cc bikes on the road.

Dear ALL

thanks for the kind advise: me go find out about MAH motors 1st: as for LTA---will try that when i have more affirm outcome from MAH.

Also looking for some antiques: HONDA MBX 125; SUZUKI RGT125 GAMMA & YAMAHA RDs.

As you can see: all are for class 2Bs - do advise if you know where these can still be available in Singapore.

many thanks.

Dear Everyone

thank you for your kind advise: in that case as I am worried to be intimidated while using a monkey for singapore roads: I would like to consider the 50R(Honda)--there is a road going version and I am its street legal: anyone knows of parallel importer who brings things in from Japan. (suzuki vanvan / yamaha TWs)

Another option would be a vintage that my father used to own - for now i think its only available in Indonesia; the CB200.

As you would have discovered - I am taking my license as a 2B and thus my adventures are only limited - please advise.
