there's a mass runway cycling & blading tis sun, 6km & 15km route.

 

venue : paya lebar air base

 

date : 20 jun 04 0830h flag-off

 

for infor & registration online - http://www.safra.org.sg

 

think it's a great chance for SBF bladers to meet up.

Hawker center carpark, that one need to put coupons leh....

They are other free carparks around.

And for rental, 8pm, I think the shops are closed liao:confused:

well, can always park @ the other carpark & blade over.

 

As for the rental timings, not so sure, think they operate quite late, remember seeing them not close @ 2200. dun code me. i'll try feed back to organiser....

i was in canada for 3 weeks for inline hockey tournament...... juz came back yesterday....

 

Will be going to either jurong or kallang to skate tomolo ard 3 or 4 pm... will mostly go to jurong n stay there until after 7pm.... ( Reason : speed skate at 7pm)

 

then will leave there to go kallang for my ice hockey session again..

ah pek can't walk properly limping but yesterday can ride to bike shop to change tyre for his VFR :faint:

i and a couple of friends also went there too.

its been a long time since i wen ice skating again.

wats the price range for a new pair of ice skates?

i've kinda lost touch wif the newer range of of ice and roller blade products.

The last time i played roller hockey was like 6 years ago. totally lost touch wif the in line world. is there still a team called Extreme or Lighting?

Last time no $$ so can't afford to maintain the sport. hoping to get back to it again..

Should have joined this thread ealier.

 

I go skating at ECP every Sunday. Just started 2 Sundays ago... self learner.. had a few falls and can only blade carefully (Read : slowly) on my ABEC 5, which costs me about 70 bucks.

 

Would welcome likeminded friends to join me or invite me to join them for skating on Sundays.

 

Usually finish a session at BFDs, drinking beer..... :p
