Hi! anyone care to share wat's the price of the rental of roller blades at east coast park?? Feel like going to just relax n exercise.... anyone have the same idea? maybe we could go together?

$7~$10 per hour, $7 is those plastic type, $10 is the soft boots.

Protective gears included.

I've been wanting to learn.

 

Have learn a bit about equipment from this thread. Thanks.

Now to look for a pair of skates (after reading all the advises).

But will keep my budget around $200 for a start.

If I buy a pair with ABEC 3, can I modify them to ABEC 5 later?

 

How much do I have to budget for protective gear?

For a budget of $200, I suggest you ge a pair of K2 skates. Go to Skateline at Paya Lebar to have a view. As the the Protective gears, the nicer and profssional looks ones will cost higher. And buy the way, if the need the Members Discount card from Skate line, I have it.
