You got your source from an online "bike dictionary" (I can't seem to find it) and for me, some sources -- some of them are from a combination of bike journalists, online sources, and manuals.

 

That's okay, in the biking world there's claimed out-of-the-factory horsepower ratings and also, bike test/dyno ratings. Maybe we'll find out what is the correct horsepower claimed by Honda in the near future perhaps? Er...or maybe a dyno run report or summtin...

rvf dun have 60 HP. i remember i read somewhere the bike is manufacture from japan.. n there, they has a 59 restriction of HP. i dunno how true is it.. juz sharing wat i have read.

So assuming the R model is the latest CBR4 model, would you think the numerous configuration and parts change contribute to the horsepower reduction? Or is the horsepower reduction intentionally done to meet Japanese licensing standards?

i not sure. the jp hp limit is at 59hp? if yes, l and n model met that. among the 3 cbr models, i will take r model anytime.

i dun think so. at wad gear also can clear rpm meter. wads the big deal. wad i wan to see is gear 3 hit 190. i remember last time the rider did say his bike can do it.

LordDevil... u riding wat bike?? u wanna have a friendly or a match with side bet? u should own a fast cbr i think.. if u r riding a class2 bike then i m too slow for u to play with... i nv think my bike is fast.. bcuz i know there is much more faster 400cc bike out there... but every thing we can try.. lose or win is the nt main point.. is all abuot the fun... and u can see the performance between 2 MOD bike

ok. i can clock ur speed on a class 2 bike. no issue with it. i only add real fren. wait till after we meet up. this wkend no problem.
