ya true.but to be fair to all mankind maybe i should put it a way like,taxi driver/mac,kfc,pizza delivery,despatch rider mostly all abit of reckless,and that included me as well since my work need me to ride for 400km per day atless.

 

and always have a common habit:i ride/drive so many km on the road everyday,i should be very experience,so my driving/riding should not be a problem.

 

and that is the KILLER in our mankind.

Hmmm yea got to agree with that. Even normal ppl do drive or ride dangerously sometimes. Especially when they are rushing for time like late for work or such. Its very important to have a mindset that even if you are late but you reach safely is more important.

 

As for all those despatch riders and drivers well we can understand la cos they also fatige already after long hours on the road. Its tiring man... But still they really have to watch out for others. As for riders they really have to watch out for themselves.

Same wat hahaha i go JB i also become chicken Hahahaha a small size Kanchil can overtake SG plated car so damn easily. Even the lorries also going 140kph i was like WTF??? Hahaha... But once season NSHW Driver or Rider after training there already hopefully they come back as a responsible rider and drivers. Its an experience and to knw that we are actually so slow... Hahaha...

well said, i had those friends that just pass 2B and they can tell me " eh come leh challenge cornering leh" wana scrap their footrest. i taste the tarmac myself and its scary to rub agaist it. they wun learn til they fall.

 

halfway through learning how to ride a bike, my 3 yr bike experienced fren got into an accident and died on the spot due to head injury. i was first on the scene to identify the body. very tragic actually cos it was partially cos of him that i picked up riding. he was the safest biker i knew, never got into anyform of accident. i wanted to be a safety rider like him, but din know that his 1st accident wld be his last. the lorry rider while turning right at a cross junction didnt see my fren and smashed into him as he was going straight.

 

i continued learning my riding and passed but since his accident i learnt alot. i din have to personally feel the tarmac to feel the pain. now i wear a ff helmet and gloves when i ride, and i have bin safe since i passed more than a year ago. yes and when i see or hear new riders talking like they are invincible i just hope that they learn their lesson in their own way asap. i think if not for my fren who died, i might be that kind of person so i owe alot to him.

Yea nothing beats safety riding. Its each to its own. Thats why i say even if you are safe sometime things just happen. Its not abt the bike. Ppl can own the greatest bike but still get into mishaps.

 

Thats why i wanna highlight that wanna test your bike performance or potential, do it in a proper track.

 

I wonder what is it to boast abt riding how good when riding how safe is the thing to boast abt. Like those uncles riding for 30 over years and still slow and steady.

I where got care much? Just trying to reduce the accident rate on the road. you dun find the road alot of youngster riding like crazy punks meh? We are riders, aint we suppose to help riders to make themselve safer???

 

Im not suggesting that TS is such personal. But if there are young ppl that are reading it i really do hope that they will have a better mindset of being safety. Since so many advert to tell ppl to ride safely, isnt it good to have this kinna nature in SBF too? Or do we want to have a SBF that is full of threads that are tell ppl how fast they go?

Same wat hahaha i go JB i also become chicken Hahahaha a small size Kanchil can overtake SG plated car so damn easily. Even the lorries also going 140kph i was like WTF??? Hahaha... But once season NSHW Driver or Rider after training there already hopefully they come back as a responsible rider and drivers. Its an experience and to knw that we are actually so slow... talking abt cab.. the Silver Cab Saab also DAMN fast. Of cos needless to say the Merc also.

 

That Silvercab is Skoda superb 2.6 V6 Turbodiesel.A heaven for speedster cabbies but problematic car.Spare parts needless to say.Once scrap SC wouldnt want to bring in.Fuel also dun say,Almost on par with NA car.Personally i feel that its redundant for cabbies to have turbodiesel taxis,Majority drive recklessly as they thought they're fastest on the road.Malaysian vehicles and their riders @ drivers are skill and fast but their death rate because of accidents also high leh compared ours.

Ya their death rates are high. Well we can also understand as their duration on the road are so much more than ours. And their highway wa liew the lightings is NON!!!! So frankly SG road is already very good with all the lanes marked out and lightings but we still get fatal accidents most of it due to negligence. Which is real sad.
