So difficult to find a custom 4 phantom. Sigh!

I just need an atleast 3-4 yrs COE left stock simple phantom that is rightly priced(~2000$) I dont want any specially bidded 2 digit or 1 digit number nor do I want any harley like mods. So difficult to find? Haaiiiizzzz!

 

I dont understand why all phantoms are priced so high on the forum for 1 or 2 yr COE left. 2 yrs ago if was so easy to get an FU/FV plate phantom for 800$. Now COE is again back to those levels yet bikes are trading at insane depreciations of 1000$ per year. Crazy!

 

Now even bike shops are selling cheaper than forum. I urge everyone to go and check bike shop prices before buying on this forum. I just called Universal motors and they have 2005 Aug Custom 4 version for 2500$. In this forum people will try to sell at or above that price which is not right. Buyers be smart!

the price quoted by seller is normally inflated... i personally NVR bought a phantom at the stated price before... so i suggest u get smart and start to learn how to negotiate... personally i have bought 3 from this forum... NONE at the stated price... sellers also know the price quoted will not be the selling price...

 

please buy from shop by all means... at least buyers from forum know the owner of the bike/s they are buying... understand the things/items that needs to be replaced and negotiate from there... buy from shop? they will factor in many hidden cost... so... i think u shld be smarter too in your decision making...

hi

you guys got real nice bikes down there. I own a 2003 ta200 which I am slowly customising. So far i did a bunch of lttle things, like straight handlebar, handlebar clock, chrome horn, footrests and such.

Now its time for the bigger stuff. To start from I internd to replace the stock fenders with long ones. for the rear fender I intend keeping the stock tailight, mounting a license plate beneath, and move the turn signals on it.

Next in line is top-opening luggage. on to the front end, a triple headlight set up.

Are these parts available on the 'net, or are they custommade?

Comes with recently fitted crashbar. serviced every 2000 km at Planet Motors. Just ask the mechanics there, i'm a regular. Washed and polished every 2 weeks. Engine is still good. New handlebars, Brake pump, headlamp, signal lights, grips and mirrors were fitted when I took over. Have the receipts to prove it as well. other forumers can also vouch for how well I treat my bike.

 

Selling off as I am upgrading and road tax ending as well. Bike used for transport to work only. Price negotiable.
