Please state interest(if any) of price range. After many requests and interest taken for my co. to make mobile clocks/timers which can be fixed/removed at will on bikes.I'm creating a poll to help evaluate the open interest and thus allow me to make a more measured decision of mass producing a series of clocks/timers with different functions for riders/bike enthusiasts.Of course it would be best to have you suggest your ideas to me to be taken into consideration! =)

regards and hope to hear from you guys soon,

cheers!

Hope response is honest and understandable that with quality comes price and i hope to produce an item which would benefit us both greatly. Thanks for reading and ride safe!

Yours faithfully,

Bryan

Sorry to have left out the descriptions.

So far my co. has designed several models, but only for customised orders.

The most popular type so far are digital clocks the size of nokia screens, slightly bigger. There are a few which has an on/off button which switches on the illuminating function, usually in blue and switches it off when wanted.Like in the day or when it is brought home.

It isn't permanently fixed on and comes with this holder which is affixed to any part of your bike, usually according to customers the fuel tank or the speedometers.

The holder is affixed on using a strong adhesive sticker which is easliy removed with simple lubricants which would not harm the paintwork.

The digital clock is slid, and locked into place when needed and can be taken home when not in use to prevent theft.

These are just the basic functions of the clocks which we have made for our customers, there have been a few which requested for timers with triggers connected by a thin cable to their brake levers etc.Wiring can be done by you.

We definitely welcome suggestions and ideas and intend to mass produce so as to be able to lower the selling price to benefit all riders, and just curious are there similar products in the market?

I look forward to your replies.

Yours sincerely.

Bryan

What abt clocks that changes colours to indicate ERP timings and so on OR just indicators of which area of ERP still on. I get really fed up at time wondering what time they go on or off. Just my 2-cents  Maybe u could put up some pics up here.

count me in if u have it dude.

If can trigger the timing,it would be good for taking timings during a track day!!

:cheer:

But you must zero the error with the erp timing yourself, or else, when you though its over and you go pass, its actually still not over bcos your clock is one minute faster.

Good idea anyway.

Hope the thread starter consider to produce this device, think both car and bike owner will be interested, bcos a lot of rider/driver do not know the exact timings of the gantry operation.

Maybe can include bus lane timing inside too.

Thanks to all who have given your suggestions etc. Though a little too far fetched than expected i'd bring this up to my co-workers and see what they can come out with. However please note that it would be ideal not to have too many functions as it would complicate a rider who has to switch themodes on the device, which,is not too ideal. And the ERP system timing is not fixed and hovers around the 6-7+pm end etc and really depends on the flow of traffic (if i'm right?).So please keep your polls running in and your suggestions too! Thanks all!

Cheers!

Not all LCD screens can tahan the full brunt of the tropical sun.

I used to strap an LCD watch to my triple tree (presto! instant clock!), but after a while the sun made the LCD leak... then spoil liao...

My Sigma bike computer seem to hold up pretty well under the sun, though. But many moons ago I accidentally snapped the wiring so now it's off my bike.

Hi all i've been trying to contact past owners to have the pics taken but please be patient.I might not be able to reply as i would be overseas for maybe 5-9 days.As for the LCD we have so far heard no complaints when the customers come to change the batteries,as i mentioned,it can be snapped on and off at will and of course no one leaves their gadget there under the sun if not tending to it... as for speed traps etc i think it is too far fetched, this is not some gizmo i can provide.I am just looking to share what other customers have been happy to own, simple yet stylish hassle free watches mounted onto their bikes.Haha not some speed camera device =) . Thanks anyway for the suggestions, cheers and safe riding to all!

Actually I think it should just be a clock with stopwatch / countdown clock and alarm clock functions. Just like the "standard" digital watch from Casio. Those speed trap and stuff like that are a bit too far-fetched. The ERP problem can be solved by setting the alarm clock to sound off at the specified timing.

Jus a simple clock with illum is good. As we are riding, it's dangerous to check our watch while on the move.

Additional functions are indeed a bit far fetch. Too many functions and modes. Diff expressway has diff timing for ERP for example...

Instead of adhesive sticker on the bike, can consider the item that cyclist use to fasten and slide on the blinking lights when they cycle at night.

Point made by ZZR-Pilot on LCD is quite true.

Range is about S$10... jus in case forget to remove and kana stolen also not so heart pain... low cost replacement...

Hope it helps...

hi would likew to get one if its nice and worth the price... :) coz i think.. we can always wear a watch while riding.. so.. adding a digital watch to the bike.. is like.. abit redundant. unless its quite cheap.. more of a cosmetic purpose.. :)
