A short review on the Gilera Nexus 300ie

^ Gd choice on the H&B Junior, I used it on 2 of my pre-loved bikes before and they are tough enough for some bashing, expensive though but it looks better to me IMO. Not sure if the Junior is going to be too wide for the nexus either, but good to check it out.

1 of my friend is using it on his AT. did a compare on nexus. width is just nice.

hmm nexus riders... any mods avail for our bikes? aftermarket exhaust, bbk, suspension etc2?

 

btw, tried my nexus top speed.. reach 150km/h.. not bad yeah but touch n go only hehehe.. motor feel abit stressed but the ride still stable. no floating sensation. loved the handling man.. im running motul 300v 10w40.. damn good oil, engine is smooth like butter..

Where u did ur servicing? Nvr go back to ADH ?

yup.. tried touch n go at 150km/h... can feel the stress of the engine so don wanna whack so much. pls pls do not test machine on populated local roads.. hint2. safety for other road users is priority

 

serviced my bike at power wheel tampines.. been using the motul 300v for my previous x1r and now test it on my nexus. engine is smooth compared to stock oil.. but still, enjoy the bike and do ride safely guys!

have yet to change tyres... my ride is only 1.5k old hehee.. maybe the oldbirds here?

 

btw, u guys tried dr pulley rollers yet? if yes whats the weight of the rollers used.. stock is 13g, i changed mine to 14g dr pulley's.. low and mid-power is good.. but at the expense of my high end... usually 7k rpm my speed will be 120km/h.. now only 110km/h.. smoothen the power band though.. rpm climbs faster and easier control on low speed. much more responsive

Has anyone experienced a flashing 'spanner' logo on the control screen when mileage crossed 1k? I just saw mine flashing but I had my oil change at 600. mileage now is 1k. Thanks

its probably an engine oil change reminder which will come out every 1k mileage.....if it is, you probably did not reset the counter when u service your bike.....a few auto scoot has this....i may be wrong though....read the manual if its available

its the standard 1K maintenance you need to reset it there's the way to reset said somewhere at this thread had the same problem myself...

Just found out that our bike is 10km/hr faster than the speed shown on my iphone GPS.

 

so is our bike speed slower? any1 can clarify this?

Been riding for pass 5 days. Comfortable and fuel consumption is really good . Now running in at 100km/hr. never pump till now mileage is 350km and fuel gauge is at more than 1/4 tank. Never regret getting this bike.
