Taking my Class 2A on march 2011, this ER-4N is definitely my choice liao, initially wanna stick to a 2nd hand super 4 , the designs and its lower maintenance fees than class 2 bikes since its class 2A, im gonna get a new ER4N and hoped its out by then, then add the hepco side boxes and a GPS and touring adjustments, and im ready for touring liao wakakakkakaa

Looks like the Ninja 400R is using heli bars.... Very turned off for a a sports bike. :sian:

I heard that kawasaki insurance is higher than other brand of bike. Wonder how much will be the OTR price....

hard to break into this market.... already dominated by CB400s... Project big to REVO already 6 models.... not to mention the aging CBR400s and RVFs....

 

because many riders has good review on this vehicle, plus the surplus of parts circulating in the market. :box:

Suzuki GSR been around since 2006, it had a slow start but I did saw some increase in population. Either you choose a path of been unique or just follow the pack lor.

 

I have been riding a s4 for 3 years. Overall, it is a great all rounder bike.. does everything.. track, touring, transportation, comfort etc... but does it deserve it's reputation? Maybe back then. Today? NO! average fuel consumption, heavy, 4 bottles of EO change, dualshocks, analog meter, expensive insurance... zzzzzz..

 

This ER-4N comes with monoshock, needs only 2 bottles of EO and plugs and outlooks way better den s4. Probably is lighter as well. Only thing stopping ER-4N from launching well is probably price and insurance.. Aiya, see how lah. Only time can tell. I am just hoping to see a bike that finally knocks super 4 off its throne soon.. :angel:

 

If honda fully upgrade CB400SF, the new retail price might be a shocker to 2A riders. Hence you see that there ain't a big changes since Hyper VTEC till current Hyper VTEC Revo. It serve its purpose well been a faithful commuting bike. Love by the young and UNCLE!

 

What to do?I like big bikes but unfortunately my Financial advisor disallowed me to buy since i've got 2 cars and a transport bike to maintain,Buying a bike over 600cc would add up more cost for me.:giddy:

haha to actually knock s4 off the 400cc market is not gonna be easy considering how much of sg total bike population are s4s...

 

Agreed, the pricing play a part too... affordable for those whom wanna ride it for a year before next upgrading.

bike is a machine without soul, rider would inject new life and character to this machine

wow... definately opens up the selection for 2A riders...

 

got a year to watch and wait.. but definately refreshing to see what this bike will bring to the market

in God we trust... all others pay CASH...

omg one of my fave bikes the er6n 650 for 2A!? sweet

 

but strange it seems really heavy 203kg in the specs, even s4 with the chunkier 400cc inline 4 engine weighs less @ 160-170 kgs even if wet its at most 190 kilos, where a compact twin should really weigh less, (maybe the specs are wrong)

 

this is very very interesting, if the specs stated above is right it could mean its just a down bored or sleeved down motor of the original er650.

Well not tempted to get a 2a, class 2 is still the most appealing

What is the ride height of super 4? What's the price of Super 4 new one? is it still call spec 3? I bought one yellow spec 3 years ago only 12.8k on the road, sold at 8k 2 years later. Regretted selling, now need to buy another 2A bike. But heard bike price very ex nowadays. Considering this or super 4 now. is fairing version more ex than naked version? why naked one seat height shorter? if taller than spec 3 then my subrider cannot ride.
