Anyone got this HP? Is it just me or does the Galaxy S looks so uncannily like the IPhone but with a bigger 4 inch screen???

i dun have a iphone, but comparing it to my 2nd gen iTouch..

it's had a very vivid display..

 

looks very similar to iphone, but got two extra buttons, menu and back..

 

many applications similar to iphone..

using a unique swiping to unlock phone instead of iphone's boring 4 digits unlocking pin..

"swiping module" on Galaxy S is it's unique feature..

I'm considering getting my Mrs an iPhone 3GS since her LG Arena went kaput on her last week. However after seeing the Galaxy S, now in two minds. Samsung has how many apps available as compared to the iPhone??? :confused:

I checked out the Samsung Galaxy S and I must say it is indeed a very good handphone. Fast, great clarity and sophisticated. Plus it is value for money cos it costs less than $200 with plan. However I did not get it cos the iPhone has more apps and a good reputation. Thus got the 16GB iPhone 3GS for my Mrs instead...:smile:

Real value for money. I was tempted to get this but the lure of the iPhone apps reeled me in. Maybe by the time for my recontract, if the HTC Evo 4 is still not available, I will consider getting the Galaxy S...:smile:

Got this phone for a week and whata u know...plenty of websites to download plenty of s/wares...best of all...90% free!

Phone is speedy and precise to touch. Too much free things until now wife and kids complaining me most of the time spent on phone doing internet, reading ebooks, facebook, games (wait until u see the 3D racing performance!).

My friends with Iphone have mentioned that this is sure a better phone than Iphone4. Do check out GSMArena for article on Iphone4 vs Galaxy S...S won beautifully. :)

Got my HD2 for a few months now.. and my granduncle just got the Galaxy S. DAMN, the colours on the Galaxy S is so damn vibrant!

HD2 price falls fast. If you wanna trade it in, then better be quick. I'm still happy with my HD2 so don't see the need to get the Galaxy S. If I wanna play games, I'll just borrow my Mrs' iPhone...:angel:

This phone need to update the sofware...u need to go to their samsung station..

Sometimes it hang...

Volumes missing...

Slow..

Best is pull the battries & insert it again...
