just to confirmed....vtec2 has no dipstick........... but we can buy the dipstick at aboy jb......... it even comes with thermometer...... didn't buy it cause if too nice a lot of itchy hands would take........ cost around rm20......

the thermometer is shown outside or inside?? meaning is it outside the oil sump or in the oil sump??

 

if outside still not bad. can check the temp. but like said, scared itchy hands only...

for EO, there'll never be a best.. it's good or bad based on your preferance.. try different EO and find the ones most suitable to your needs and riding style..

The 5W40 may be a bit thin for daily commuting use, try the Ultra 5W50. Yes, it top of the line from Maxima, usually this grade meant for the most demanding sportbikes ridden in race conditions.

Definately will like the Ultra 5W50 better if you like to do enthusiastic riding during the weekends, it gives better response.

Customer service mah. Every dealer/mech has their own theory on EO while not many are still active hardcore type riders, so the only way to help the customers is to do it direct after I got sick of all the weird theories. Choosing the right viscosity for your bike and preference is very impt.
