Fuel Consumption

Hi guys,

 

just ask a question

 

i stay at pasir ris, then work at simei (both east side), then i work from monday to saturday, 8am-6pm, then if i ride a honda NSR or a honda Phantom, which one will consume the most fuel and how much would i need to pay a month for fuel if i go on like this

phantom 150 or 200?

if phantom 150, then FC not much different from NSR150

cause engine is similar

 

if phantom 200, then of course phantom 200 FC is better than NSR150

no matter if long or short distance

 

petrol cost wise, i think ard $30 is sufficient

provided u dont go ride to other places other than to work

 

actually for 2B bikes, it's not FC that cost most. i think its the insurance cost thats going to cost u more.

i would think the NSR would have lower FC.....

phatom is a relatively easy going bike whereas NSR is a sport bike...

anyway i riding NSR and my FC is about 24km/litre....so i think below 20 dollars should be enough for one week considering the short distance between your workplace and your home

phantom should be better but it depends on your riding style too

Anyways, right hand controls throttle which controls FC. End of story. Additives? Magical FC adding devices? Nah, the price of that nonsense can buy lots of chicken rice.. and lots of petrol to waste on the track!
