Just wanna ask what is the amount per litre require for premix because i've alot of answer regarding this. Some suggest 20ml/l , some is 25ml/l. Some lower than 20ml/l. Usually pour 25ml/l but somehow realise the smoke produce is alot than using 2t pump . So so anyone have the answer ? thank you so nice

go to a Good Mechanic to have ur done up for PreMix, and he will advise u to the proper ratio.

My mech advise for MY bike is 1L fuel to 12ml 2T for normal riding, if going to chiong NSHW up it to 15ml 2T.

Before heading for track , get mech to inspect and advise for premix too.

I am using liquimolly and it works great for me and my bike.

PreMix, is premixing oil(2T) with the fuel, instead of using the oil pump.

i think 25/l is over kill. i use to ride wr200. anyways just keep a medi bottle with u. the 200ml ones. or maybe you would like to have 2 of those just in case. i think 20/l or 18/l pf petrol would do good. if you are going for premix, i suggest using motul 2t. very thick. not like normal 2Ts

My girlfriend uses premix on her bike. I use premix on my bike too. We ride the Aprilia RS125 though.

1:20 is for racing.

1:40-1:50 is for road/occasional race

1:60 is for well tuned bikes whose mixture is well-balanced, with proper jetting and spark plug type used

1:70 is for the gutsy. Benefits are low smoke, crisp and fast response.

You might want to try 1:40 first then slowly reduce it the ratio to 1:50, then 1:60.

1:50 is quite a good mix. (1L of 2T to 50L of petrol)

I am currently using 1:80. I pour 90ml of 2T for 7.1litres of petrol.

Shaking the bike after pumping is not required. Simply do this:

Pull into petrol station.

1. Turn off fuel tap (so that the 2T doesn't sink to the bottom of the tank and enter the carb, leaning out your mixture)

2. Pour in 2T (If your mixture is 1:50, 80ml of 2T requires 4Litres of petrol)

3. Pump fuel according to requirement. Let the high pressure pump mix the fuel and 2T for you. The fuel inside your tank should churn and foam. No shaking of the bike is required.

4. Turn on fuel tap

We've been running premix for many years, and our premix ratio is 1:80. We use cough syrup bottles with 90ml max limit, which gives us 7 litres of petrol every time we pump.

I use this ratio for track racing as well. All these years, NO SEIZURES from lack of 2T. I change spark plugs once every year or 2 years, cos the plugs are very clean. Valves never jam, and are easily cleaned with minimal scrubbing, once or twice a year.

Most mechs in Asia are Malaysians, and recently mainland Chinese. Their skills and experience are passed on to them from their sifu, who in turn learnt from their sifu. If you can find even 1 who's been trained proper in Aprilia Italy for at least full course (not some 3-day crash course after which they receive a 'Certificate of Participation), I will donate my bike to charity.

If you're willing to experiment, you might be able to get a lot more out of your bike than your mech ever will.

Believe nothing you hear; and only half of what you see.

Do or do not; there is no 'try'.

2t pump is designed so that if u use a 250cc race replica for transport, you won't need to shake it too often...

so that in turn u wont be sweating in ur alpinestars..

i think he meant the fuel petcock, under your tank. there's a switch to move from ON, and RESERVE.

February 2011 - March 2012 = Phantom TA 200

March 2012 - August 2013 = Suzuki Impulse 400

Present = BMW (Bus, MRT, Walk)
