When u see him tmr u can ask him....but I reckon we has to take 2 bike lots so display 2 coupons lor....should be some issues with a car lot even if he paid for it....a bike taking a car lot is "not proper"? Summon-able?

 

Our rides together never seen parking issues le.....then again we rarely just go out and abt locally...

We have unlimited food and unlimited table space. Just drop in and attack the buffet table. I converted it into a pro biker venue over the past few weeks lol.

Now doing some homework on website, last week's pics, preparing memory cards. Hopefully we can do a 720p recording tonight instead of 380p. I'll have to rework the kopitiam engineered helmet cam though, due to the new cafe racer posture (looking down all the way).

 

I'll work on the above once I've finished attending to all the pillows. As you can see there are lots of them :D

thks for the invite.....i wished i cud...but as mentioned I'm bikeless for a month or so.....bike in the workshop...warranty work...don't ask...it's an Italian thing LOL

 

Alternatively Syder cud pick me up....but riding pillion on the trike cud be a bit of a problem since i weigh at least 2xs more than him....he cud be wheelie-ing all the way to the meet up LOL....

Lol Italian thing! Still, I don't care the sound and the red angry looks is well worth the investment :D We have the honour of having a Monster S2R with us for the past two weeks and the "foundation piling" noise from the valvetrain is epic. Taxi drivers cringe when they drive beside us.

 

Pillion on trike should be okay I think. There is a touring version of the Spyder I believe. Would definitely be safer than heavy pillions on 2B bikes because the heavy front end should balance out the load on the back. Two wheels, suspensions and wide chassis up front should be fine.

 

The thing I don't like about pillioning on 2B bikes, Phantom especially, is that the standard riding posture already puts most of the weight on the back wheel. (No wonder chopping the risers all the way down improves things so much - increase weight on front tyre)

 

And the suspension is really setup for featherweight people. Max load 130kg! Omg. Kitten and luggage can max it out easily, how about full sized cats?

Sure thing, the outings will continue to be run weekly, I am just contemplating a change of venue after the 'last hurrah' of a buffet today at Padi's.

 

Not good to stick to the same place forever, besides.... they DID run out of giant sausages (no kidding).

Yesterday's night road course was pretty challenging! But thanks to our platoon sergeant @Metal_Heart and heavy cruiser support we more or less rolled through the opposition unhindered!

 

This is our first HD video production which required lots of processing, post processing and not that all easy to manage. Homework required, but hopefully worth the effort :3

1) recognized gutripper. was that nabil15's S4 or someone else ?

 

2) tanchoonheong now very stylo-milo already. very "hu-say" now. :)

 

3) The van's plate # very special PA 5 6 7 8 S :)

 

4) that 3-wheel bike very attention grabbing with all the flashy "lights".

 

5) hi, recognized your "long-haired with hair band" friend ( sorry forgot name ...is it sean something? )

 

6) my bike's "gear shift lever" snapped at saturday 6pm. :(

We actually wanted to ask you something - how do you use a KRR as a convoy leader? Dave was quite good playing 'lead scout' but there was just one small issue... sportsbike mirrors cannot see behind so he had no way of coordinating with the main battle fleet :p

 

So... I resorted to using the horn as a signal LOL.

lolx.. yup.. dave is a speedy bike on our end.. so scout would be best for him.. *no offence dave.. :p

for some of our bikes we have diff kinds of mirrors installed thus able to see the back.. :)

horn is also one way to signal.. :)

 

whahaha.. 2A is definitely out for me.. lying on my bed now considering to buy a car.. :(

because of my back.. i might not ride for good.. car expensive.. not squeezable.. FC s**k.. traffic jam LL.. wow lau.. sianz lor..

den think of getting electric bike.. NOT FAST enough.. that will be super duper sianz.. emoing... :(

I felt I was getting backaches from the standard riding posture of the Phantom too. The "relaxed" posture actually puts too much weight on the lower back while wind blast and slouching bends the spine.

 

A more sporty riding posture puts weight on the abs so that's what I'm using now. Am thinking the posture you can see on the Spyder and the Intruder is also designed to prevent overloading the back.

 

Lol @ squeezing. Even if I drive, avoiding traffic jams is my first priority. No fun being gridlocked. It wastes a lot of time, fuel and patience. Car might be a practical choice for weekends and off peak commutes, for those of us already used to motorcycling. I find bike can get me anywhere on the island within 30 mins to an hour. Car/taxi. Ahem, sometimes I'm tempted to hop out and take MRT instead.

 

And the driver will always comment - "no lah, I drop you at the doorstep lah". Lol.
