If it's too long a distance, another alternative is to let me know your route of advancement. I'll meet you on from second stage, which I will pump full before merging in the convoy midway. At least it'll last to the journey end lol~ Or is someone going to help me carry 3 litres of petrol around ? xD

Because most of us are riding together only for the second time, I may put in more pit stops (Every 1 hr or so) and may go somewhere other than Changi as the end point. No need to stress ourselves.

Ok thanks for chipping in on the route planning, both of you, it's much appreciated.

 

@Shunpo - in this case we can adapt to Bumblebee's performance. I think 3/4 tank should be adequate and ample reserve for you to return to base later too. If I decide to retire to Marsiling after the event then you and I can take the same route back, so no worries on any mechanical issues.

 

I am carrying additional 4T and 2T but not outfitted for refueling tanker duty yet sorry LOL. Those $2 fish tank pumps can be used but they are not petrol rated. The petrol will eventually corrode the untreated plastic and the fuel vapour after usage will also be an issue.

 

@AhGui - Battleship Yamato joining us? :3

 

Ah Gui coming from work so we give some grace period and launch the convoy from Kranji at 6.00am. So don't need to speed to get here. Later we have to pay you rocket fuel lol.

We actually wanted to ask you something - how do you use a KRR as a convoy leader? Dave was quite good playing 'lead scout' but there was just one small issue... sportsbike mirrors cannot see behind so he had no way of coordinating with the main battle fleet

 

So... I resorted to using the horn as a signal LOL.

 

Lol...I am not using stock mirrors which is bolted in by 2 screws. My previous stock "mickey mouse ear" krr mirrors can see behind and is quite good but not very cool though lol. My current aftermarket one uses only 1 bolt and tends to come loose from the wind resistance and vibration at speeds over 140km/hr. And for some reason, people always like to play with my mirrors at my carpark. So I gave up adjusting it with a spanner whenever it comes loose. Thus, I don't use mirrors and I don't usually lead unless necessary. I'm better at playing "catch-up"

 

Oh and I am interested in the dawn patrol too.

Stage One (Northwest Territory)

Dawn Patrol through Lim Chu Kang farmlands

 

Stage Two (Sunrise Interception)

Watch the entire sunrise as we ride along all the elevated highways in the South

Telok Blangah skyway followed by ECP

 

Stage Three (Landing at Changi)

Bored of highway? Escape into Bayshore and slice through empty housing estates and hilly terrain, popping up at Changi Village to enjoy the sea breeze.

 

We can end more or less anywhere, still in time for breakfast!

Lol it's going to be an epic convoy.

 

Just turn up at 5.30am at Kranji MRT station. If you can't wake up on time then don't rush, we can always ride another time. We will only wait until 6.00 for @AhGui before moving off.

Lol you better concentrate on work. Our morning run will likely be as long as a Malaysian sprint. Infact I want to stage it in such a way next time you all can organise your own cross-border outings using a similar format, just like Spyder used to do. Sprint north at dawn, come back to SG before lunch. Confirm shiok one, if you avoid jams.

 

Green pig - I can order the whole set and give you the pigs for free.... I basically want the turbo bird and bomb birds.

There is now an Angry Birds CMO on my facebook. Lol. Ordered in a big shipment of small birds from China. For the price of one big bird here in Singapore you can purchase a whole army of them online.
