wah i spent my entire saturday at k&T... from 9.30 a.m. to 6.30 p.m....

lucky clifford got time to do my bike-bike. does anyone want to go shopping with me tomorrow? want to check out the singpoare sale, need new pair of shoes...

Hey... You have gd choice..!

Me riding one... also got it from Singapore bikes.

Basically, the bike is a performer by itself.... U want 140km/hr... anytime... U want 150, juz give a little more trottle... 160, ... need to ramp a bit... on the fifth gear before going into the sixth.

I have been riding on average of 100 to 120km/hr. The bike juz... sound... normally ok.

Consumption... well... 24km/ltre is a fair no.

Easy to handle the bike as it is pretty light.

Maintenance wise.... I think is quite normal... juz.. watch out on your brakes pads, engine oil, filters, and tires....

Mine is installed with a box... and bro, if you are getting a box.... make sure u have the original rack... cost.. about S$150. This Money is worthwhile ... especially when you realise how much better the bike is with the orignal rack than the re-con... rack. Vibrations is reduced tremendously as well....

That's my view ! Hope it's helpful.... cheers!:smile:

Sorry for the interruption.

I'm riding a hornet 250, it can only goes until 200km(mileage) even with full tank.

I seldom speed and only ride within singapore only.

Hope that those experienced hornet riders can help me with this.

Also I would like to get a box, anyone know where to buy the original rack?

and i tot my old hornet used to have lousy mileage.. i used to be able to hit abt 280km/full tank.. full tank is supposedly 16litres.. so my fuel consumption is 17.5km/l

 

as for my riding style.. well.. i dun realli ride in a relaxed manner.. if u noe wat i mean.. :cheeky:

It might be possible that we would stay at Kuantan instead of Terengganu, as this would make the Sunday return leg shorter.

I re-looked back at my blog on Spectrum, Eeie and I's last trip to Kuantan. If we set off at 7.00 am on Sunday from Kuantan, we could hit 2nd link at 4.30 pm.
