$22.90 i will rather get Maxima or Motul, same price or cheaper.. Both are ester-based.. I bought Maxima Extra for $16/bottle..

u can get it cheaper somewhere else. maybe $18-$20 only

 

the red bottle 4T gold got different versions, i saw 10w40 and 20w50

My fren's wave 110 got indication 650ml on the engine oil tank.

I use 700ml.

Tried 800ml once but felt sluggish.

My theory is that when the oil is heated up, it needs space to expand.

So when too much, no room for expansion. Thats why the moving parts get "heavy" due to the excess oil.

ya, shouldn't pour in 1L. when heated up, the pressure inside the engine is very great, and could stress the sealings in the engine. Like those very old bike, when you rev high, the pressure build-up feels like it's going to rip the pipes and vessels apart, cos the seals are not strong already.

How do you dispose your oil when you change? Once I took it to a motordiam, he don't want to accept!

Since its less than 1 litre, i normally put in plastic bag, double the plastic, wrap tightly n throw it in the dustbin. :giddy:

What i know this Motul 1000 20W50 is very hard to find in Singapore. I guess u got it from other sources right?

I think it it mineral. Can use la but not long mileages i think.

No problem. It's cause I have use Motul 3000+ 20W50 before bought from Johor. It last me only abt 1K km. Dat 3000+ is a mineral.

Afandi, your bike second hand no need run in la. Run in is applicable only to new bikes. When u get first hand bike then u need to run in to make it season.....
