se4riously..to e..SPC very low..could feel the lag in power..

Thankz bro for the Info....mybe ill try it myself once. If its lyt u said....got nuthing to say lorr, juz testing tis oil wether worth or not.

I've tried SPC engine oil $8.50 several times on my 110cc kub. No probs cos i change it every 1200km. Now i using Total from Carrefour $5.90

wah seh.. more and more budget oil coming out.. haha...

 

thats exactly what i would do also.. use cheap oil.. change more often... or use expensive oil... change less often... cos it all works out to be the same in the long run....

its never the same.. they are cracked diffrentlly..

 

they are diff quality...

 

why dont just stick to fully syn.. its better.. change twice a week...

I've checked out even better deals across the causeway. Petronas Sprint 4T SAE40 only RM9.70, equivalent to SGD less than $4.50. Shall try it out after i finish my abundant stocks of Total oil..lolzz

SAE 40. Its a single grade mineral based oil

 

SIngle grade 40wt very very hard to crank when cold. Tried it out on a 600cc bike, even that was struggling and took forever to warm up.

 

Want cheap go buy those 5 gallon pail EO lah. Do not assume that good quality oil is only for extending oil change interval. The additives play a crucial role in protection.

Guys, didnt knw if dis is de ryte thread but ... I changed my own engine oil last nyte. U knw de bottom nut use to drain de used engine oil? Do u haf washer for dat nut?

Cos i tink, wen i remove de nut, theres dis cirlce ting lyk washer but it cracked into half. And after draining, i cant tighten the nut.

I need help here if u guys don mind. I cant ride to work. Is it because the previous shop overtightened my nut? Thx guys .... Ride safe ...

yeah... there is a black washer or whatveer you call it..

 

i think its better you bring the cracked piece and approach your bike shop for a replacement...

Its a special washer called a 'crush washer'. Don't just anyhow lup a steel washer in, it needs to be made of copper or other soft material. The idea is that this washer deforms and seals the oil. If you use steel washer, u deform the soft aluminum sump instead.
