Castrol Power1? Which viscosity u using? The product itself in Singapore comes in 2 viscosity grades which is 10W30 and 15W40. SO which one u using?

For the 15W40 I usually use till abt 1500 - 1600km only. Then change new one lor. As for the 10W30 I not sure........ :goodluck:

Maxima Extra 15W50 can last u 2500km on a Honda Wave bro. I have personally tried it and record the mileage. Up to u la to try it or not. Up to me I think it's worth the try. U can feel the rev of your bike just like a sports bike! Will feel more smoother too!

Remeber to check your engine oil level every two weeks though.

Last till 5000km? I don think so for Honda Wave because Honda Wave does not have OiL FiLTeR thus have to change much faster. IF Got OiL FiLTeR I believe it may last 5000km. For Honda Wave without OiL FiLTeR highest mileage i every tried is 2508km which means ard 2500km finish liao....

Engine oil is specially formulated to stop dirt and deposits accumulating inside your engine, keeps it cleaner, reduces wear and tear ensuring you get the most out of your bike.

So if u never change within the recomended mileage it will lead to more wear and tear which equates to more expensive repairs in the later stage.

Have a look at the 4 stroke engine animation here.
