I want to buy a nice top box/trunk fro my Valk. It needs to be fairly large, and shiny black... made of ABS, other plastic or fiberglass. A stop light would be nice.

Who has the best selection of boxes to choose from?

Thanks.

A Valk deserves a Hepco & Becker. Pretty darn industructable provided it isn't a thief trying to break in. Try contacting motorworld. The rack might be a problem though; you'll have to have one custom made, since I've never heard of a H&B box rack made for the valk.

Alternatively 219 shop used to sell semi-customised GIVI boxes that featured faux leather lids.... very classy on a custom.

H&B locking isnt that great, not recomanded..i got 2 friends who have H&B boxes..they have no problems changing keys with each other to open their boxes..the key combination not much and if any other H&B key can slot into ur key hole, ur box can be opened ! tested and proven !

2 roads diverged into a wood, and I-I took the road less traveled and that makes all the difference!

I bought a Givi Maxia E52 - the largest made - at Chiap Lee. It was installed for me at 219, so I think the two companies are related.

They did a good job of creating a proper custome mount since Givi no longer sells the kits for the Valkyrie. Overall I am happy with the service and price.

Cheers.

question: is the givi stand one for all? i.e. new box to be fixed onto old stands?

Yes. I think every Givi mount kit is designed to take the mount plate. However, there are three different mount plates if I recall.

I have to point out that when I changed from a GIVI Simply E45 to a GIVI MAXIA E52, I had to change the mounting plate as well because there was some slight difference.

Hi friends,

I have a problem with my Kappa K46 Box. I got it as part of the freebies when I buy my bike from a bike shop. Been using it for about 3 days but I am already having problem with the key lock. When I put my key in, 9 out of 10 times it will be stuck (i.e. cannot turn or move). I am suspecting that there is something wrong with the key lock.

1. Can I change the key lock? Or do I have to change the whole box?

2. If can change key lock, Any place to recommend?

3. Will I be able to fix a Givi Base plate and box onto a kappa Rack? (Mine's a spec 3)

Please Advice. Thank you.
