Topic : Touring with Tube Tires on Wave

Actually I intend to go on a Photography Road Trip on my Wave S. 1 problem I have is that my Wave is still using tube tires & stock rims. Do you guys think it's advisable to go?

 

Further more I need to fab a bracket to house my tripod. What is the best possible way to get it done?

Duration 2 weeks. Will be travelling up all the way to Thailand & of course part of Malaysia - Malacca, KL, Penang and other interesting places.

 

Definately slow & easy pace up, a lot of stop over to take photos.

 

Anyone interest? We can plan a trip up. Hopefully during the festive season.

Should be ok going touring with stock tyres and rims but make sure u know how to change the tubes if they burst. Bring along extra tube and material needed for changing tubes. Still the best, go for tubeless cos less hassle. :goodluck:

Hi! I planning to go up to Hatyai 1st if I'm alone. If anyone bikers coming, maybe can venture up north. Should depart from Singapore on 20 Dec & should reach Hatyai on 24 Dec. Malacca - 2 days, Penang 2 days. Hatyai should be 3-4 days. Ldging wise will be on budget.

thats too soon liao.... as i have other plans this year end.

if u want a relax ride, maybe u can try stopover in KL and then Ipoh/Penang for some really good food. make sure u know the fuel stops as u need to top up every 100+km on NSH.

 

actually i was looking at planning trips for next year as i am planning my 2006 annual leave. :D
