Pardon me for asking this kind of question.

Im a P plate here, been browsing through the forum N everyone answer seems to be somehow diff.

I'm planning to gt honda SP 150, as it the bike that motivate me to go for class 2b.

However, b4 i proceed on buying it, I would need to know some information like the Fuel consumption, full tank is how much and pump full tank petrol would cost how much.

SOrry for askin this kind of question here as I don't want to buy a bike that I cant afford to use it on road. As I live at bugis and gotta travel all the way to woodland for school purpose and all da way to town for work.

Sorry for troubling u guys!

Yep have heard some disable the power valve to get more range.

2 strokes seem to have lower compression ratios for some reason, perhaps due to engine design. Which is good because as you say, 92 can be used with no problems.

Y125Z loves Esso 92 (compression ratio 6.5:1)

service carburretor and make sure the fuel and air jettings are matching... if not your bike will have no power (improper fuel and air mix ratio) and your fuel consumption will be very high....

dont wack your throttle too much, only when moving off or cutting between cars... if not just maintain your throttle, 7k RPM at 6th gear is a good speed to cruise on the expressways....

hard to get super good fuel consumption for SP, most average around 200-220km before reserve.... if you want better fuel consumption get a 4-stroke... i wouldnt recommend things like broquet fuel charger or atom power fuel additive; i feel this is money that is better spend on better brake pads, good 2t, regular servicing and more petrol...

Cheap + fast = no good

Cheap + good = not fast

Good + fast = not cheap

went through the entire process to make my sp consumption better (wash carbs, change needles, tuning, etc) but i think even my rvf has a better fc then my SP... really depends on your luck bro. my previous owner went to modify something that controlled the throttle in the carb and it was irreversible. however performance wise was very satisfactory and the bike never gave me much problems... i was getting around 180 per tank.

my friend's sp got around 220?

512 spocket hub consumpt 20-22km/h

428 spocket hub consumpt 23-25km/h

most important depend on ur bike performance and chain condition..

428 not bad at all for a 2B sportsbike. Advice is try not to aim for excessively high fuel consumption as it means overly lean carb settings and very long gearing, requiring literally, a pilot's license to keep the engine from overheating. Not as fun as blazing fast 20km/l SP that doesn't give problems.

Fuel economy is for lower-performance commuter bikes. SP is for speed :3
