your bike will end up flying like mine :cheeky: now bike already powerful, owner ball start to shrink inwards :cry:

Maybe, juz maybe... If still nuting iz being done, We Singaporeans Bikerz should go on a Strike until they redo up the Circuit, coz the Circuit really is getting pretty $hitty... Bad >>> Worse & still counting

hi guys, jus got my k9 600 yesterdae.

would like to ask sum qns.

 

1.when i got my bike, i rode back in the rain.

when i stopped, my headlight gone abit misty.

like water vapour inside.

is it normal and wat could b the cause? or wat shld i do?

 

2. every time when i park, i notice smoke coming out from my exhaust.

is it normal too? or wat could b the cause? wat shld i do?

Nope unless u're willing to pay for the resurfacing..Or unless there's gonna be a major event like sanction go kart race, f3 race etc etc..

From the information I gather is that there is about 5 to 7 hp increase in both mid n top end but there will be a loss of abt 2 hp in the low end.....is that true....I used in for track once a while...

you dun need low end at all for the track mmahhhhhhh :cheeky:

if you need low-mid, change to +2 rear sprocket... tried & tested @ sepang, pick up is brutaalllllllll :thumb:

ans: 1. most prob is due to the headlight cover not fix up properly in factory, go to guan hoe ask them check for u.

 

2. it is normal during wet or cold mornings, wat u see is jus steam generate from the moisture in the air.

Playing around with the rear sproket is the cheapest way of mod actually but I want to gain some thing more from the engine .....probably install a ignition module to help solve the low end power loss......any issue with realibilty if the high cams are installed? Please advise....

wah you a lot of money hor..okay first i need to stress that 'Hi-com' and 'Cams' are 2 different. 'Hi-com' is high compression gasket. And 'Cams' are normally short form for 'Racing Cams'. For me of course, since I had my full system, pc & hi-com, it is already good enough. But if you still find the bike 'bo power', you can:

 

-) go for the ignition module & retune after which your bike sure powderful (but be prepared to get 120-150km on the full tank) but even for this case, top Dynojet tuners will tell you that, they can only tune to give you either a pick-up or mid-range setting. And no, you cannot have the best of both worlds, which is why I recommend the sprocket change in the first place. If you really want to level things up, then change your gear ratio like what they do in WSB

or

-) go for the Yoshimura Race Cams (inlet & exhaust, cotter pins, etc ...i should have a 2nd hand one drop me a PM for more info) which is almost good as the maximum you can go with the bike

or

-) try make your bike lighter,,, marchesini rims, 520 conversion, carbon race fairings, etc etc

Sorry to trouble you mates~

 

Was riding my new k9 600 through a packed up traffic and the bike grew hot.

 

It was around 105C-110C stated on the coolant temperature indicator.

 

Suddenly i notice a red light blinking below the speed indicator and the coolant temp indicator was shown switching between the word 'sd' and the temp.

 

Stopped at the road side with engine switched off for above 15min. started back the bike and it stops blinking and showing the 'sd' word.

 

anyone knows why? what should i do or is it normal?

wah highest i go in a pack traffic only 106. shouldn't go up too high. is your plate no. 1111 ?

most bike if stuck in traffic max temp should hover ard 102-106

 

I think for my 1000cc, the max i ever get is 106....
