Noted... Thinking of doing it but read that the set valve's purpose is for better mid-range....in ur opinion any difference?

If you keep it open, it will definitely be louder at low rpm. One friend did that. Will have freer flowing exhaust at low end, esp if you already changed end-can. Other things not sure already. But if being louder makes you feel faster, by all means do so.

ic, then it's good enough already. My EXVA is also permanently opened. The mid-pipe comes with the cat, else it won't be street legal.

Wouldn't there be any fault error code being generate to the ECU?

How to bypass if any ?

Our bikes look small, so many drivers think slow kupkia. I often need to take evasive actions, even though the exhaust is loud. The puny horn doesn't help either. No such issues on my Silverwing. Maybe need to change to loud horns and HIDs. Take care everybody

Hi guys, any kind soul can help me? Im potentially going to take over a second hand k7 600.

Is there anything that i can look out for during the viewing? Like the engine sound or anything? Also it come with the illegal yoshi exhaust, can try to send for inspection to legalize it? But the previous owner bought it online.

Follow this excellent writeup from our fellow forumer. Not the same bike but most applicable.

There's no way to legalise the exhaust if bought online. Suggest you make sure he has the original stock or be prepared to buy a new legal one or let bike shop handle the annual inspection.

Replaced the lousy "eh..eh.." horn with Hella Supertone. Single horn is loud enough and no need relay, but need to extend horn wires and up fuse #4 to 20A Original fuse is 15A. Since new horn takes about 5A, better increase. But I've not tried using the original 15A. It might be enough. Simple mounting on lower screw of rectifier bracket but need to bend the original horn bracket slightly.

Have the other new and unused single Hella Supertone for sale if anybody is keen to change also. This is the higher 500Hz frequency. $30 will do.

I just got the bike from a previous owner and he didn't have the fender. Further nowadays LTA seems to be very on the ball~ I think having it would cover my ass.

True to that bro. I believe many of the risk takers would rather have the eliminator on. When inspection due, then will revert to the original or attach those rubber 'no kiss' brand mud flap to pass the bike. If wanna play safe, better get it then. But bro, everything else on ur bike LTA friendly?
