Btw, what is the "healthy" voltage for k7?

I am getting 11.3V - 12V at start up and 13V - 14V MAX above 5 rpm excluding neutral gear. Neutral like all 12++. Is the time of my rectifier or stator up?

I hope this helps. Do use a proper voltmeter and do not rely in the installed ones in your bike.

I have a 12v 1a battery charger :D

btw, cheap rectified and coil at ebay if you trust them.

Battery diy is $65.

hi markopolo, sorry I'm a bit noob abt bike, what u meant by tuning? Hehe... Wat I know, I give my ori bike key and they duplicate the key with the microchip in the key. Without the chip the bike won't start if I'm not wrong.

Key cutting is the mechanical part.....programming to your chip is the final duplication process part. :)

Mine is drilled to the fairing. This was from motorworld.

It works anyway. Good insurance.

Btw guys, how long do u guys warm up your bike? Temp... And have anyone encounter your digital meter suddenly go blank? And after awhile it went back to normal. I'm new to gixxer btw... Riding gsxr 600 k7

Warm till 50'C before move off. It's probably due to poor connection of meter to circuit. Usually I prefer soldering. It could also be faulty meter.

Hi guys, need help, its my fren's k7 600, his fuel consumption is very high, it only reaches up to 100 click for his full tank before his reserve light stop blinking, tis was not the case when he first took out the bike, went to shop lift up the tank n found out tat his air filter literally broke into two, filter changed n still no changes, so went back shop again n service his fuel injectors n still no change, wat is the prob here? Thanks in advance, lastly he told me tis also happens after he uses tis stp fuel system cleaner.

Hi bro... Need urgent help. Engine oil is leaking from the left handside of the bike. When i start and run the engine, oil will start flowing and when i stop then the flow stop. Any idea wats wrong? Im riding a k5 1000. Thanks.

Gasket spoilt. Simple cure by just changing but meanwhile need to ride slowly to shop or better still get a tow as you risk running out of EO.

Maybe some of the debris is obstructing the valves or is in the engine. Check spark plugs also. STP unlikely to cause this.

Hi uncle, thank u for the fast reply, I also think due to connection cuz it happened wen I ride on an uneven road which it will shake the bike and meter went off... Oh 50'C... Cuz before this I warm up till 70'c man... Thank for the info again...

Neway the leakage is flowing not dripping... Any trusted shop to recommend.. Neway which gasket is blown out.

I had the same issue before. Turns out the timing starter gasket was leaking...

About 2 mins. My meter spoilt before due to prev owner using high wattage bulbs heating the meter gauge cluster. Now running on stock. I had to buy a used meter. Btw, someone in CMO repairing meter cheaply. You can try spraying wd40 into the electricals.

i used to used STP fuel injector cleaner and after using twice, i nv see my reserve light ever litted up again. although no prove that it was e main cause but veri lightly it is

Hi hyder, thank for the reply... I just had my meter fixed at my bike shop for free since its still under warranty... I asked the mech, he said wiring loose... 3 mins job... Lucky...
