My bike have a Civi Simply 52L box which is capable to store 2 helmets. I don't pillion rider often but i would like the freedom to bring another spare helmet with me. What happen here is that when i was riding , the spare helmet 'rumble' inside the box and end up screw/face shield break in long run.

Any one have this issue and how you tackle this issue to protect the helmet.

Put the helmet in a bag?

u can also try to put ur raincoat and stuff at the side so ur 2nd helmet will not roll around ur box.

wah you ride so fierce ar? can rumble until break. lol

i would recommend you to wrap raincoat/jacket with it since it dont carries much weight and can prepare for the extreme rainy weather especially this monsoon season

Actually i ride quite defensive and safe, IMO . Definitely not a fast and furious rider

My previously spare helmet is medium size and I suspect that the stress vibration is too stressful at the part where it hold the face shield that resulted in cracking. Now bought another spare L size helmet and hope that it will solve this problem. Will consider putting the helmet inside a bag.

well you can try buying cargo net. Put the spare helmet on the rear seat and net it down when riding. when parking or leaving the bike, just put it in the box.
