The C2 is surprisingly light for a Schubert. Had a System 4 once, but found it too clumsy. Pass it to someone and it saved his coconut when he took a tumble during our last trip to Kuantan. From the damage on the helmet, his chin, nose and cheek were saved. The chin bar remained in place and the visor remained intact though badly scratched. Tried and tested, double http://www.advrider.com/forums/images/smilies/cooltu.gifhttp://www.advrider.com/forums/images/smilies/cooltu.gif

Does it also comes with a supply of donuts?? I like my with extra Rainbow bits.... hek hek hek hek....

Wow, 4 lamps = double Baja = sut sut no smile man!!! http://www.ukgser.com/forums/images/smilies/clap.gif

But I think the problem might be with the lamp housing, unless you don't mind having the lamps exposed, else you'll need to have a fairing custom build for them...$$$$ man.

Sure, no problem. What I was describing to you the other day is called etching. Basically its letting acid eats away the unprotected material, like copper, while the pattern that you want preserved is being protected by a barrier. This barrier can be a tape, sprayed on coating or a photosensitive coating. The last one gives good result with sharp edges. The metal will come coated with the photosensitive layer, you place pattern over it, exposed it to UV, developed it, put it in the acid bath and let the acid do its job. I used to get my material from Sim Lim tower but that was quite a while ago. New processes might already be avail. Do you know any electrical/electronic students?? They should be most up to date.

Come on, who are we kidding..... how many SUV get to see mud under their tires. The GS of most people will spend almost all their life on tarmac anyway. But its good to know that should it ever occur, when good road runs out, that you need to take it into the rough, the bike can still survive and brings you home...... http://www.advrider.com/forums/images/smilies/bandit.gif. And when good roads get rough, the throttle can still be kept open for that blast http://www.advrider.com/forums/images/smilies/ricky.gif Its a 'feel good' thingie, more than anything else...

Mine is Yellow, FZ plate. Single seat with top box occupying pax seat position. In 2 weeks time, probably, hopefully, can get 2 yellow tinted Hella flood attached to the engine guard.

Wah, this thread goes up faster than stock mkt leh

Yep, I like the Syncrotec very much as its got pretty good weight distribution without feeling any drag on the front or back. Fitting is pretty comfortable for me.

Another thing abt the Shoei is the small shell size which makes it easy to keep in the panniers with space left for other things. Lastly...I tink i have a Shoei head leh, last time used to have an Arai but dont feel as comfortable :cheeky:

Hey Koma, tink u oredi ki siao liao :cheeky: Tink yr GS will turn out to be another Frankenstein GS like Danny's :thumb: But who cares.... its one hell of a makeover :thumb:

Yep, agree totally with Cyclops :thumb: The reasons y we ride GS is not bcos we r dirt road fans. It is the 'jus in case' thing. Another thing is the high ground clearance of such bikes and the long travel suspension which is more capable of soaking up potholes :thumb:
