back firing is lovely...its music to my ears! :)

essentially its unburnt fuel in the exhaust system, the more straight through your system the more you get.

i really can't live without back fire, that popping turns me on and is a very impt criteria when i look for a used bike to buy.

i remember my triples popping all over the place as i shut off my throttle in 1st and 2nd gear after revving the titties of them.

so far, i have not been able to get the k to pop as its on the original pipes but my other twin with the cat converter removed back fires like mad...:)

right on blackie21! i love the popping sound too...used to purposly pop a few pop while stoping at traffic light :p miss those music :(

I went to PML with the parts number of this converter posted much earlier in this thread but the uncle said it's not a BMW parts num. :faint:

Currypuff: I couldn't find the article, lol. Shall update if i happen to see it again.

I want!! but with the adaptor, will the whole thingy protrude out under the seat?

By the way, anyone here ever tried to get their OEM seat trim by Eugene saddlery? Right now, although the seat is already at the "low setting" with payload adjusted, I still find it quite high.

Do you guys think it is ok to get my OEM seat trim?

I did up a rear pillion seat there before (other bike) and a back rest cushion for my GSA. U can rest assure that he has great workmanship for the job. He even rush the job for me specifically when i told him i need it in a couple of days' time (he said 1-2 weeks initially cause just before CNY) for my touring trip.

Great service, workmanship and reasonable price. Nothing more to ask for. Told him i would recommend other beemers to him.

I was previously using the 205W and hence with the ciggie plug, i needed a socket that could fit the 205W charging cable and direct to the charging socket at the left rear of the GSA.

This item solved everything.

Hi Guys!

Just sharing with you all my current project. Too free liao den cant ride the bike, so start to have alot of fantasies liao...

Mockup with card board. Actual size and postion on the bike.

From our sitting position.

The master piece! hahah! The 2 vertical slots are meant for adjustment purpose. Will have a backing plate behind the support bar.

I am in discussion with my friend now about fabricating this piece with 1.0mm stainless hairline finished plate, should be much cheaper then TT cover. :cheeky: roughly abt $40 a pcs...

The parts will need to be cut using laser machine, so that the lines will be perfect. Therefore, i still think is a gd deal.

I still trying to improve the design such as making provision for adding equipment mounting.

If anyone is interested pls let me know, I can ask for further discount from him if got more orders. Got any more ideas to improve must also let me know hor! :thumb:

That's what i would do if i had some machining skills.....

btw.... previously bought a Sargent for my Fazer and loved the seat. It was not too firm (Corbin's very firm) and it was just nice for me.

I gave my GSA's stock seat a chance and the seat was comfy. So i gave up the idea of buying another Sargent for my GSA this time round.

If you are willing to blow a helluva moolah imho, you better try the stock seat before you can tell yourself you "hate" the stock seat and wanna buy an aftermarket seat.

If the seat height is the issue, i know BMW has the low seat which is in the region of 300-400 bucks (if i remember correctly) coz i bought it for my father who is also my sub rider. The seat has never been used but once!!

Aftermarket seats are only available online. Do note that any purchase above SGD300 you'll need to pay GST upon reaching our shores and Singpost will only release the item after collecting the charges.

Ahh ok. That TT product is to eliminate glare or keep dust away from the speedometer?

Nonetheless, good effort bro.

Titus, try the original seat first. I've no complaints but thumbs up for them.
