Go and book test ride at PML and decide.. That way u can understand which bike suits u better in terms of usage and of course pockets.

And to pay a bit extra to get the dream bike of yours,well its worth it.

Hi Guys...

Need help from the R1200C riders here.

Can anyone please recommend me any online stores selling original parts?

My C's tail light/Indicator light assembly just got knocked by another vehicle (bike?) in a car park and is now broken.

Bro, obviously maintenance cost is high. Performance Motor charge labour which sometimes higher than part cost depending on complexity of problem.

 

However, that didn't deter me from owning one...don't get me wrong, I'm not rich, but if u want your bike to be well taken care of, be prepared to pay the price.

 

Personal experience, I waited 3 weeks to queue for repair though problem not serious. In 2 days, my repair cost is 1k... Hahaha... But it's a old bike and I planned to keep, so there always a price to pay.

 

All I can say, I love the experience of riding a boxer engine...

 

 

I total agreed with africakali, old RT with Boxer engine are nice to ride but there are cost to bear as the bike is old. I recently thot it to of selling it to buy a C650 GT but change my mind to keep the old RT.

It should be another 9-10 months before seeing the first bike out in the market. Had checked with the sales people there's no price yet. But looking at the price based on Japanese machines it should be at least about $10k more.

I went down to Performance Motor on 29 Dec 12. They quote me 38k all in, inclusive of COE. They also comes with side panniers. The problem is they only left one silver colour GS. By now I guess it should be already taken.

 

KK88, i guess you and me are looking for similar bikes. LOL.

In accordance to BMW UK website, the basic GS model is about same price with the basic GSA model. So, I guess something similar will apply here. GS 2013 models are already on the road in Europe.

Price still unknown hopefully cheaper. Latest it should reached our shores in Feb 2013 and paper work done. First bike on the road should be by March.

I just dropped by at Looi's motor today. Like what Mr Tofuman had said, Mr Lee told me the bike will be ready by March/April. The price is about the same as the current GSA 40k+.
