During rides when I'm slowing down at junctions and during traffic stops, I can see my rpm sometimes idle below 1000, nearing to stalling. It even died once when I throttle off when I was coming to a stop.

Fuel injectors dirty? Anyone knows a Beemer mechanic (besides PML) who can tune or clean the FI injectors (or whatever causes this issue)?

Drink. Ride. Bloody Idiot.

I think it is throttle body synchronisation.....some go to Mtechnik at Kaki Bukit Autobay, some say Perfection Motors at AMK I think.

Ok so I can presume both Mtechnik and perfection motors is at Kaki Bukit Autobay. Easier then.

They are at different location. Mtech is at ubi, perfection is at kaki bukit

Kobane your bike's problem could be due to the fuel pump? My bike also has this issue before pml recall my bike back to replace the fuel pump and the wheel flange for 2005 up r model Beemer... Then now with the new fuel pump no more problem with the low rpm issue.yeah!

Does it happen when your bike is still "cold"? What model year is your Beemer?

Have a 2k r11s,comes with the stock choke system, basically a Bowen cable to open throttle blade wider, just to trick the ecu to deliver more fuel to warm up the engine.

Later model comes with throttle-bypass idle speed control valve, driven by the ecu, let's call it auto choke....

Earlier models are only mechanical choke, manually manage by rider...

No sir, it happens even at traffic stops. I need to blow throttle a bit as a preventive measure just in case it stalls.

Sensor... Fuel filter... Fuel pump...

Even if after riding for a while bike is warmed-up, you need to do the above?

for me,i've to use choke for a while and once ridden for sometime, i'll ease the choke and the rpm stays consistent at 1000-1200 rpm...

Paikia44 ,, Accessories are somewhat only an opinion. There are always things u can play with. I just gotten the front cowling from Airtech and waiting to spray it.

I have an 2003 R1150R , was wondering how duchess does the airtech front cowling cost ? And btw where to go for spraying the bike , tks

The front cowling that airtech does won't be an exact fit for your R1150R and u need to do some fabrication.. Send an email to them and they'll advise you accordingly.

They have however done on a R1200R

I sent mine to Ban Hock Hin for the spray and installation as I had them touch up the bike previously before. If u only need respray I suppose there are plenty of other options.

Happy to see there's still many active Beemer riders here.

Still having the "choking" feel during riding. Bike sometimes kinda hesitant to open up. Maybe need to replace the fuel filter (anyone knows the cost) first.

Stock filter =approximate SGD30 +..

Perhaps can first have mechanic check if the idle-air bypass valve for the 2 throttle bodies are adjusted to balance their vacuum , or not.
