Any one here use big bore kit? How many cc?

Anybody installed 0902 hella horn on the bike ? I can't find any space to mount 2 horns. Any advice ?

 

Mine is mounted one side each.

440cc... add in a stroker.. its another 30cc.. then its a 470cc already. Put in the Hotcams, an FCR41MX3, K&N air filter, an MRD or Yoshimura TRC race pipe.. and you got a 55 HP DRZ.

 

The question is... can you maximise and use the upgraded power?

Either

Battery (might be dead) or Starter (carbon brush worn out)

If u can... Test what is your batt voltage. If you're seeing sub 12 volts. Confirm battery dead.

If cant test batt voltage, try this, Ignition On, hold down starter button, use some hard plastics or mallet and hit your starter motor area. If it starts that way, carbon brushes are worn.

I had 3 weeks of crap with my battery and carbon brush. Both of them gave me issues that time. Everytime u press the tick sound comes from the relay(I think) at the right rear end of the bike. Fr me if it was the carbon brush, a few firm knocks to the starter area should work the trick.

Try this manhandle method and see if it starts?

 

My guess is that if after a few hard knocks and nothing happens, chances are, the battery's kaput.

I useD barrel 4 before. I polish it with autosol or McGuairs. Can make it quite shiny. Not actual bling bling chrome finish but I would say about 70% mirror finish.

i used mcguairs too. but with a buffer =x not too shiny though =/

Hi guys, my bike is due for inspection. Will a stickered front number plate pass inspection? i wont drill and make a couple of holes for the screws on the head fairing or fender for the metal no plate... thanks in advance..

mine pass, no issue..black and white, proper size fonts and spacing..
