yeah.. constanly lubbing the chain will lengthen the lifespan of ur chain.. lub is so cheaP onli.. :cheer:

hmm.... how often do u guys lube the chain? any brands to recommend? i'm using one which gets sticky... its difficult to wash it off... tend to stuck on the rims..

lube whenever u like n when u feel not that smooth lor...

 

i'm using PJ1 blue label... PJ1 black label not bad but will flink... :sweat:

anyway, it's up to individual... :smile:

lets say u use a new chain n an old chain, u can straight away tell the diff...

Ya didn't clean will shorten the lifespan too, for lube i use castrol wax not bad.

anyway you want to groom your bike i got a place suit S4 best!!! cause i done a full servicing there and grooming too...

 

there the shop may not big but had a great service, reasonable price.....

unless u know how to rotate ur wheels by pushing aside using the side stand, if not, like me, just push lor. :sweat:

hi ppl..morning man.. jus wan to check, how come super4 chain sound so loud and rough when moving...i think u guys noe wat i means right... phamtom is another bike with this problem..

 

so anyone can explain this??

 

and oso provide some ans..

mayb becoz our bike engine too silence...tats y u feel the chain too loud...lol...its due to dry n loose...try wash/lube/tighten it.

cannot be lah... i got rabbit oiler installed leh..and oso my chain is less than 300km old man .haiz...and i oso check to make sure tat oiler is dripping oil leh,,, so cannot be due to dry and loose

Well..i've ever wondered...maybe thats a Honda trademark....

 

In my riding experience

heard it in :

phantoms

super fours

the CBRs family...and that includes the new CBR1000R.....

 

maybe like the Harley Davidsons....they have patented engine sound..

 

Honda bikes have patented chain sounds....

but in the 1st place, the chain got give out a certain amount of sound when riding...

just dunno is that the sound u mention the same as we hear from ours...

Ya me too. the sound really bothered me. when i lube the chain the sound will minimise den after 1 to 2 days the sound start to hear again. Bo pian have to live with it. . :sian:
