hi guys, just a random question...

 

I was quoted by a shop for vara 125 2007 model for about 6.5k machine price. its 2nd hand... mileage about 45000km... is it abit expensive? im looking to join the varadero group! :)

 

or do you know of any shops that sells? thankss

Hello, just a couple of quick questions, I'm actually currently putting my Phantom up for sale and planning to get Vara 125 from someone off this forum.

 

Now just finalizing the finances, and should be joining this camp soon =)

 

If senior varas could advise and share a bit,

1) What is the rough fc of the bike

2) Known complains? For e.g TA200 is a EO drinker, vara?

3) Having test rode it before, noticed that the steering is quite wide, is cutting jams a problem?

IMHO.....

For mine, I'm getting ard 25-27km per liter in city riding.

If constantly riding at 110-120km/h will get around 20km per litter.

But all bikes differ.

2) Known complains? For e.g TA200 is a EO drinker, vara?

No complains for me just that the parts are expensive..

3) Having test rode it before, noticed that the steering is quite wide, is cutting jams a problem?

I dont find it a prob. As nibble as a kup if u know how to ride it.

my girl friend did it in 3mth.....same injury and she's back on the little ksr....with boots and armour
