Successfully push started it tonight, wasn't too hard, thanks for the advice. I guess the battery is close to death though, will probably replace it soon.

Good morning.

 

Another coincidental meeting with @brandnew at the GP Shell station before returning to Sg earlier this morning. Disappointing that Kulai nasi lemak wasnt opened last night though.

 

I had gone to Pontian Kechil after reaching Kulai for supper fix. And the additional journey nearly made me push my bike back to Sg. Was running on fumes literally when at Shell. Phew.

 

Until the next time. Hopefully not too far in the future.

How much you letting go bro? And roughly when you letting it go? I thought of getting a vara early next month if it's affordable. Just not sure which shop has it and how much it's going for. Loois at bukit merah right? Maybe one day i'll go down there.

I saw the one at Bike Production about a fortnight back. Condition looked to me but never tried engine start, cos I was looking at other bikes.

 

I'd suggest calling the shops to see if they have a Vara first before going down, otherwise it can be a wasted trip. Try calling ASP, Heng Motors - dun forget they have different branches - and also checking out the "centralised bike meccas" eg Alexandra/Jln Bt Merah (only familiar with this one).

I'd be happy to share both routes, if interested:

 

1) Highway to Pontian Kechil for supper (but service and food not as fast and good as Kulai, I'd better say first hor, but damned cheap); long B roads; highway to top-up at Shell GP => home.

 

2) Highway to Kulai for supper; long ride through the Sime Darby plantation/ recreational forest; long B roads; highway to top-up at Shell GP => home.

 

Both approx 150km +-10km from Shell JAI and back home. Both routes are actually on googlemaps.

 

My friend brought me to somewhere at Bt Indah a fortnight back to makan. Suburb of JB, I think, and open-air hawker fare. Quite shiok.... just that they charged us more cos we are Sporeans. But still good food. They close much earlier than Kulai and Pontian though.

 

Afterall, we are all riding 125s, so no such thing as lagging behind or going too fast.

Heng motors changi have.. I sold mine there.. The engine is still in excellent condition.. Fu plate.. Renewed 10 years coe.. Fully stock.. Not Getting any comission from them.. Just felt tt my little rhino could make do with a good owner..
