FZ16 Weekly Kopi Night Session

anyone experience this before. it's been a while since I rode full throttle and I noticed a 'drop' in top speed last night. previously still managed to get about 115 after a while. but last night, full throttle cannot even go 110. top speed was only 108 even after a good stretch. bike just when 2nd svc 1 month ago and running on octane 98.

I can say not really much for FZ16 due to it's less then a year old bike. U might wanna flip back to the older post on what mods are available. Most are comestics or handling mods like handlebar/ brakes levers or so. Exhaust is not available till now still..

Haha, try it at NSHW maybe can get better speed? Need more stretch la.. haha!! I think there's a technique on throttling for our bike, i did before full throttle immediately, our bike cant cope it and the speed cant go up at all... i tested with gradually throttle increase, apparently it's much better. Can travel at 103~105 without full throttle. Maybe it's time to try a octane 95? or install some goodies in ur bike? ^^

Im totally new here in this forum. Im noobier than a noob when comes to bikes. Had no interest in bike for the past 25 years and suddenly it just struck me. Enrolled at CDC on April'11 & I passed on July'11. Since then ive been eye-ing on this particular bike..yeap! its yamaha fz-16. Saw someone riding it @ eastpoint and it was gorgeous la seh!

 

Im planning to buy fz16 very soon. Just a quick question, i saw someone posted here that they got the bike OTR at ard S$6.4K w/o insurance. But about 1 week ago, i went to ASP Changi. The salesgirl at the counter quoted me S$6,785 OTR w/o insurance. Price hike eh?

It's not price hike, if you do observe, it's the cost of the COE that is fluctuating the price of the OTR.

We dont have meter to clear lea, digital meter lol! How about you borrow mi your fazer1000s let mi clear meter with half face helm ANGRY!! RAWR! Hmm, ya hor... dreambike must change le... Maybe a 2007/8 version vara is still in my heart. Saw those LTA use one, damn sexy..
