Hi, i'm not very sure about that. I'm 38 yrs old and i dont know how much my insurance is. ;p Like i mentioned, i knew nothing about buying a bike.

Both the price quote to me was with insurance included. ie thats the final price i'm paying. The only diff is both quote with $1.5k coe. so if tmr coe higher than $1.5k. then i have to pay the diff.

Thks.. U paying full cash? Or instalment?

My understanding about insurance so far is below:

X party + fire n theft

X party comprehensive

Thanks for the info. The bike shop told me same thing n mentioned that there are ppl riding with stock tyres for up to 1.5yrs without problem.

Just wanna get more opinion and sensing on the ground. I using for transport to n fro work only too n would prefer spending less too.

But safety 1st so if there real problem then better to be safe than sorry.... hehe.....

No worries bro, I been through tat phase. was wanting to change tyre for smooth ride or etc. Then my wallet appear in my dream n say dun wan, it hurts!! LOL

I still using the stock MRF tyre, the tyre pretty good. is hard compund(last longer)

Anyone correct if I'm wrong....

3rd Party - Accident with mr A n is my fault, insurance pay mr A damage but i pay my own damage.

2nd Party - Accident with mr A n is my fault, insurance pay mr A damage but i pay my own damage Plus Fire and theft.

**Usually, bike shop insist this 2nd party, if taking loan from them. Coz protect them in case of fire or Theft.

1st Party - Both above + i can claim my bike damage even if my fault

Bro..

That price is consider normal.. LOL

i got my bike(Gen2) abt 7600 (a yr ago, 2K COE, insurance third party abt $500)

Best is try ask a few bike shop.. see wat the price difference, loan interests, convenient or not.

if you cant decide on which bike, take it easy.

go to showroom, try sit on the bike.. have a feel.. Which one u like it most. hehe.

cheers

Thks bro thks a lot for ur advice, I will try go to the show room to take a look. =)

if still under installment with the shop are we able to renew insurance ourself outside instead of getting frm the shop ?

as long as under installment, Most shop (99%) wan you get from them.

they wan earn the commission ma..

p.s. you can ask the admin girl if you can buy insurance from others.. is okie to ask.. no worries.

See if u lucky or not. Usually bike shop have few coe on hand from previous bids.. could be lower or higher than the latest bid..

Of coz like Hong Leong, boon siew, they less likely to have coe on hands..

When you are moving off? Or when you change gear? If it only happens when you change gear, then it gotta be your chain.
