I think it is possible that the 2nd party insurance for new rider is this amount. Just heard that mitsui insurance revise the price up hitting young and beginner bikers from Jan, 07.

I don't think they will any how quote. I remember after buying bike with insurance from them, 1 or 2 months later the insurance company send the policy to me directly. In it state the price as what they quote. :thumb:

they are by far the best bike shop i have been to.

in terms of after sales service, customer care and quality.

No more regrets.

Insurance premium varies from rider's age, vehicle's age and also engine size(CC).

Maybe they might had heard wrongly and mistook SP with ST, therefore quoted you the wrong premium.

Maybe you might want to reconfirm with them again.

Just my 2 cents.

As mentioned earlier, insurance price varies according to:

- insurance companies

- age of rider

- experience of rider

- bike model

- bike make

- age of bike

Over the phone, they do not know your exact age, your riding experince, whether you had any claims before, etc. Also they might have also quoted you for the price of a new bike.

The best way to ask for a quote is to go down directly and ask face to face. They will gladly list down the pricing of everything for you with any obligations.

Also, do a little research as well before posting impulsively.

thumbs up for universal motors.

bought both my bikes from there. 2 words - Problem Free.

highly recommended shop. both bosses michael and johnny are extremely friendly, no-nonsense, zero gimmicks people and provide excellent after sales service.

if i were to buy a 2nd hand bike from them, is it advisable for them to do e overhaul or i go to my bike shop to do? cos if they are trustworthy in their servicing i would like to let them do it...

Actually buying 2ndhand bikes doesn't mean must overhaul. If nothing wrong with the bike why do so.

You can talk to them and if you are comfortable with them you can go ahead with what need to be done. Mike and Johnny are very reasonable and accomodative type. :thumb:

Bros, what is the exact address of their workshop?

When I read about the dangers of riding motorbikes, I gave up reading.
