Tsk, that tactic is called "waiting for gundu to buy". Wait longer but profit more loh.

Anyway, next time if selling bikes on forum better do "due diligence" searches on intended buyers. Better not entertain people who bargain, too. Hp contact only if forum behaviour satisfactory.

Lowballers will be shot on sight.

Pls insert even better tactics below.

You sold an FBB-plate, 2007 bike for $1600?

That's... a really good bargain, looking at the condition of the bike.

For the certainty of death and the knowledge of life's fragility, makes it worth living.

Before i sold the bike i did a full service.

Bike shop owner?

Buying and selling.

You willingly sold the bike at the agreed price.

If the next owner decides to try sell at a higher price, frankly it really isn't your concern.

Personally I can't fault the reseller's tactics because in business, there is no moral

When I want to buy a used bike, the only consideration is the bike. I only believe what I see, and not what the seller is telling.

All the craps about how much it was bought earlier, the reason for selling it, how often it was maintained, swearing that the bike was accident free are irrelevant to me.

From my observation, there is always this misconception that the selling price must always be lower than the last purchase price. If that's true, all bike shops must be losing alot of money.

As for me, when I am tired of a bike, I always sell it higher than the price which I bought it however that does not mean I have profited from it because I have added value to the bike by doing it up, correct some faults, adding accessories...etc.

Just follow this advice, buy with your brain but not with your heart, and buy what you can afford and not what your friends are riding.

i have no problems with someone else buying low and selling higher .

my Triumph Thunderbird was treated that way.

however if one poses to be a private individual but actually runs a bike shop then there's an integrity issue.

there should not be a reason to lie about things.

same for car dealers, many like to pose as private owners selling their cars....
