Thanks. I will try to locate. After turning into tun aminah, roughly how long more reaching the shop? Is the shop on left side ot right side of the main road in tun aminah? This will narrow my search. This car cushion shop is chinese operated?

PAIR is Pulsed-secondary AIR-injection System

 

2nd valve reed is called VALVE ASSY 2ND KIT REED

 

 

This one is to trap all dirt air with bad emission into our environment

You can change this small piece by itself separately

You will see the worn out is black color means Mo2, Co2 all bad gas trapped here

This will also block fresh air enter combustion chamber therefore you will have pop pop sound when you release throttle

Just remember to change every 30,000km

It is a common practice for bikers or mechanics to disable the PAIR system popping noise. yes, PAIR can be disabled easily.

Disabling the PAIR system will NOT increase performance since all of its effects are on post-combustion gasses. Disabling it will however increase the amount of hydrocarbons that YOU allow to enter the atmosphere.

 

PAIR system was designed to reduce the amount of raw unburnt gasoline discharged into the atmosphere.

These unburnt gasses, from motor vehicles and aircraft are one of the hydrocarbons that contribute to the greenhouse effect.

make sure fix correct battery cause it must be sleeping position approved.

Now my battery capacity is super small at 3.5AH. It cost me $58. No choice but to use till it weakens then change to correct type for my bike.

Actually is there any usefulness of the bottom cowling? Will it make my bike more stable without it at high speed?

On Sat & Sun tried my bike with and without the bottom cowling. Without the cowling is definitely more stable ride at 130kph. So decided to keep the cowling away. Look doesn't matter much as compare to safety.

 

Try setting the carburetor fuel mixture to 2 & 1/4 turns. During decelerating of throttle has loud exhaust poping. Now setting at 1 & 3/4 turns. Under monitoring.

During free rev, will the tacho goes beyond 13K rpm for a stock bike?

 

Rather disappointed that my bike max speed is only 130kph. Always saw on youtube can easily reach 150kph.

today meter was 1339km 26/12/14

means 101,339km

changed shell R4 engine oil

Don't know what happened after fill up petrol in JB and my bike idle is is gone. The bike die off. Have to twist higher throttle to keep bike going. Finally, service the carb and it works fine. Sigh......

 

Change back to 7AH battery as the 3.5AH battery cannot make it. Cost me RM110. Cut the wrap the seat RM40. Carb servicing RM17.

 

Later to fix up a led spot light which is very bright.

to clean the 9 yrs old carburetor and combustion chamber DOHC

I think original set comes with cam guide 1

then they open and do all in one go

rm120 is sufficient I suppose only
