That is the technique perfomed by despatch riders to weave in traffic.

What is the riding style and manoevering operations required to ride in this style.

I always wonder, is it very demanding for despatch riders? i.e. hard to keep on schedule etc.

Depends on the employers. If employers/colleagues insist on hiring only one rider and send everything by hand, then the rider will need to ride recklessly everywhere to be on time.

Smarter management will ease the workload of the rider(s) and reduce the accident rate. I use dispatch riders only for banking ops and urgent material. Pays to have people in the firm who are bikers, themselves.

Before my time people used to mark urgent every single letter and not surprisingly riders not happy, got accidents, bike breakdowns, speeding tickets, etc.

(Disclaimer - this is small company employing 2 permanent riders. Not McD with 1000 riders. Limited resources = take care of people or else everyone suffers)

most important is to know the roads well and know to read and predict traffict correctly.

As well as know when how and where to position uself.

2 of my fren who worked as dispatch are not kamikaze riders. They juz ride relax but still can do the job well.
