717 Trading started out from a small stall in a market in Ponggol in 1973, selling only a few baskets of durians and some other fruits a day. The variety of fruits might be limited but in order to ensure the best quality, the founder, Mr Goh Kwee Leng self-picked all of them. This built the reputation of 717 Trading. Since then, the company started to be involved with fruits trading. Our first fruit durian store was along Upper Serangoon Road.

 

Mr Goh believed that, "Honesty is our main priority to customer. I would rather not sell the durians than to lose a customer’s trust". The company has lived on this motto till today.

 

717 Trading then started to diversify its focus into durian pastries specializations. From a small production area at Highland Centre, to a food factory at Kampong Ampat, the company had moved on to resettling our factories in Changi Prison.

 

With the new factory facilities, we ensure that the qualities of our products are not compromised and we constantly improve the way we work to serve our customers better each time.

There's already one organised by Gr8White 2 days after KOFO and you're already in the trip right? Somemore alot will self-organise go. Yourself also organise a plantation ride last year right?

 

SingaporeBikes.com have valuable info in the forum for members to obtain. It is not difficult to organise but have to look into the safety aspect of the ride to ensure a smooth and safe ride.

 

I will be going for one with interested members. Timing must be right as the species I'm heading for only have a 10 days time frame to catch after that NO MORE. Interested?

Planning a little trip to a durain plantation in JB for my wife, location is Pekan Nanas (51 km from the causeway), if you want the location, can give you the GPS coordinates.

 

Just got home 1/2 a hour ago from the scouting trip.

Coincidentally, Kushinagar also PM me that there is a durain plantation in Pekan Nanas (Johor)

But don't go this month. The owner just told me that the durains are not riped yet. June then can eat.

 

Great white and Encik Pat also got a trip to Segamat I think they will be going to the same one as the one my father brought our family to many many many many years back. All I can say is .... .... VERY GOOD TO EAT AH!!!!
