change the whole fork to the 1 dat the vxr05 is using estimate cost $550 for for only exclusive installation...this inverted fork is useless...not worth the servicing at all

new..rather hard to find used n I will not suggest used unless u know how to rebuilt it before using

Serious ahz? Yours is VXR leh... if u selling 1 dollars 75 cents, i'll be the first to grab But seriously speaking, market rate for VXR is around 2.5K to 3.5k... any higher, its hard to find a buyer...

so i'm still doing my calculations

most probably i'll bundle in with new piston rings, tires & rear shocks

but this will have to wait till after i'm back from my BKK trip or unless bike COE drops below $500

1) Wat is a Magnetic Coil and rectifier??

2)How to prevent it from spoilt?

3) I notice dat runner's magnetic coil is at the water pump.. can it become spoilt becoz of a bad condition water pump?

My runner is leaking petrol from the under carriage and smell of something burning and some smoke churning. Any idea wats the prob?

 

I seldom rode my bike and once every 4-5 days start. And this happen only recently. I last pumped full now left with reserve with orange lights blinking. Had never rode more than 5km, only start and ride in MSCP.

 

How much would it set me back for repairs? Siao liao.. more money down the drain, very difficult to upkeep this 2 stroke gilly leh.

 

Dun think can even make it to repair shop, need to call tow.

the 2stroke runners r getting old n had serve itz worth...now is the time whereby most of the important parts of the 2stroke start to fail from electrics to engine to transmission.

 

If u seldom ride ur 2stroke runner, u will hardly face symptoms dat will tell u watever in ur bike might be failing n usually it will fail once u start riding it aft a long while.

 

There are quite a number of "cheapo" rubber n plastic parts in the 2stroke runner which usually hardens n cracks up within a service life of 2-3yrs. n of coz electrics on this scoot start to give problem around the 3rd-4th year onwards.

I think is carb pin spoile...change 1 around $25 from tai hin....

Try to turn ur petrol to OFF when parking for days so that it wont over flow again...

i occour this prob befor when my mech let me try his carb for few day, but will leak petrol non stop...pump full tank leak half tank..lol..

now change a new racing carb its alright already....
