Hi All, I'm looking for a 2B bike but i'm spoilt for choice!!

 

I wanna know your opinions on a cheap (price), reliable and economical fuel consumption bikes.

 

I've thought of these bikes for a good start:

 

1. Phantom TA200

2. Pulsar 180cc

3. Suzuki Van van 125

4. TW 200

 

I'm trying to keep my budget ranging from $800 - $2,000.

I don't mind getting 2nd bikes cos i'm sure i'll upgrade in the future. hahas..

 

Please do help!

i was lucky to get a tw good condition .. and never regret.. 5 mins on a tw feels like you've been riding on it for life.. its that easy and fun to ride.. go for it if u not into speed..

speed and be home 5 mins early or 7 days late.

Yamaha YBR125. You will never regret at first. Then you will regret a bit. But once you get over the initial regret, you will realise that a 125cc is just enough for Singapore's roads. The you start to appreciate your decision.

phantom la. cheap to maintain, fuel economical, sufficient power. ah pek bike no one want to steal or saman. bigger size more stable abit. can get one withnin your budget also.

February 2011 - March 2012 = Phantom TA 200

March 2012 - August 2013 = Suzuki Impulse 400

Present = BMW (Bus, MRT, Walk)

my vote goes to the phantom.. has good FC... good pickup and looks good with a box

But I will recommend you to take a look at the bike mart and used bike sale section of this forum .

There are a couple of good phantoms around, and also, cheaper to get from direct seller.

i like ybr :) fond memories during cdc days :p

 

YBR, i not that fond of it. the CDC bikes are too badly abused. I remember I open throttle all the way and the bike still struggle to get to 60km/h. haha. sad. But it's a bike that can take a lot of abuse. low petrol consumption. very easy to ride.
