Thanks everyone ! There is sth I need to ask all brosand sis here. Can I own a bike without a license ? Secondly what are the proper procedures I have to go through before the bike is legally and officially under my name ? This is provided that I am buying a second hand bike from a person ( not a shop ) and I am paying full cash for it. I am really afraid of scams. Lastly do I have to pay insurance upon transfering of bike to me ? Can I just park downstairs my house and pay for insurance till I get by license ? Thanks everyone in advance for the feedback. u can park the bike at ur cp. ( must buy season parking)

no need insurance and rd tax.

u are right... i've done that...

just pay a transfer fee + lay up fees fee...

 

dun even have to pay insurance or roadtax....

just pay monthly parking ...

release the layup...when clear the tp...

never alibaba..ride it... and must able to resist the temptation to ride it..during layup period..

just a little advise to u, u are VERY close to ur tp test already. if u get the bike now, are u SURE? u WON'T touch the bike at all? if u can say YES, then do it. if not, play safe, get the bike after u pass. if not its very very risky. for me when i layup a bike, i know i will sure touch it. its too tempting.

while i find it great to see people actively posting in the thread that i've been a part of for so many years, it's such posts that are completely unnecessary and a waste of bandwidth.

 

with regards to buying a bike before you obtain your license, don't do it. it's hardly worth the trouble, unless you're getting a very good deal.

Suzuki GSF400P Bandit, call it naked bike, but it was sold as a sports tourer (it never looked like one to me though)

especially for those who wants cheap stepping bike b4 u hit class 2 bikes.......

test the bike to believe the good engine for such an old bike.. COE till 2013
