SSDC - Anyone Taking 2B There?

Just got back, passed my Lesson 4 on my 2nd attempt. (Albeit achieved with the instructors closing one eye and asking us to come back for CR!)

 

Get to pillion a girl, she was very light thus making the pillion riding a lot easier. Completed all the obstacles successfully.

 

Maybe it is really worth the sacrifice to wake up a little early and go for the morning slots. Lesser trainees and instructors are more fresh and friendly. Even Melvin was smiling! Got to joke with all the instructors I came across today, even random ones who appear from nowhere.

 

Taking a 2-week break now. Will do a couple of CRs before going for Lesson 5. Cheers all, all the best to those taking TP. (Esp Blythe!)

i remember during my times, almost 90% of my pillon riding i get girls.

 

cause im the smallest size and always get girl pillon...

Not true lah. I didn't go for any classroom lesson and I completed elearning online follow by trial test and RTT

 

hey Despic,

 

i encountered that problem too. You need to go for the 4 theory classes first, its compulsory for class 2b riders, before they will allow u take TTT, and then finally after passing that RTT.

I enrolled on 12th April 2009via the online registration and booked all my lessons online too. I attended the elearning courses and completed all the section tests. Booked my Trial test a week after and then my RTT about 3 weeks later. I did not attend any classroom except for a revision by a funny malay instructor who cracked too much joke ( and wasted previous revision time) prior to my RTT on 18th May 2009

 

I am now attending 6b and hopefully can pass soon. Surprisingly 6a is a breeze to me maybe because I have been driving for years and have no road fear.

Mhmm, good for you and the new trainees! I suppose the theory lessons apply to people who have enrolled around March, like myself -- the policy might have been changed.

my efforts pays off... there are people out there who use minimum effort and produce excellent result...

 

 

i'm those type of gal that need to use alot of hard work to produce my result...

 

 

Thanks to all instructors.... I had made it! You guys had gave attention to my smallest mistake and nv got tired of repeating urself over and over again...

 

I really appreciate it!

 

haha... anyway, ssdc had earn enough $$ from me (almost 2k) time to let me go... haha...

and my booklet is full!

 

 

last but not least, i want to thank my colleagues who cover my work during this period ( sales picking up, alot of things to do ).. cos if i were to fail again, means i got to take leave again and got to pass my things to u guys to do.... hehe

 

 

I WANNA SAY OUT LOUD!!!! I PASSED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! today i had update my insurance liao... now i can ride my baby sp....

hehe... it's really determination... i went for like more then 1 year le...

 

to be extact, it's 1 year and 2 months of effort and numerous of falling, injuries, bruises...

 

today also got bruises... bike too heavy... had a hard time to push down the main stand of the bike, then main stand knock my shin...

Just wanna share my short but very eventful riding experience after getting my class 2b QDL. been riding on the roads for almost 2 months. i learned and experienced many things that i wont get to experienced in a driving centre, vehicles cutting into your lane suddenly, motorcycles zooming past you at just mere centimetres from your handlebar. vehicles not giving way to you even you have the right of way, inconsiderate drivers who treat you like u r invisible, bla bla bla. im even involved in an accident on PIE... at the sway stretch under the flyover near the CTE (AMK) exit. fortunately i survived unscathed with minor damages to my bike. i was buang from behind by another motorcycle, then this bugger went to crash into another nearby bike after colliding into me... not trying to boast, just sharing my experience (not trying to say i old bird also, afterall i still on 'P' plate)

 

I can only say ride safe and defensively, remain alert at all times your front, side and back (impt to glance to your side mirrors every few seconds to be aware of conditions behind you. we bikes will always be on the losing end in an event of an accident. value your life, it's not worth going 10-20kmh faster at the price of your life or worse another person's life. Dont even try to race another bike or car or chase after another vehicle when you are offended by his/her driving or riding.
