go for as many revisions as necessary man...for me...i go each time i feel gian to ride...and that happens pretty often. the side effect is that i got really confident on the bike with the courses and stuff. there's loads of time to learn to get smooth...perfect the eyepoint...perfect each course...speed control...stopping more elegantly...starting off more balanced etc etc.

Why so many motorcycles stopped at the expressway shoulder when the ERP is showing 6pm to 630pm at $0.25 and the time is only 627pm. At ECP towards Changi

Posted

cuz after 6:30pm is free, they can't afford $0.25.

Anyone can ride a bike. Being a biker, is a state of mind.

I'm not too sure abt it. U can try asking the Intructors at the Info counter if its ok to 'sit in' the class.

what to do? passed all the practicals and still have so many weeks to wait till the TP test. going for CR and RR is the only way i get to ride a bike at all. its a good deal i think. i get to ride, plus get better, and SSDC gets some business.

haha! just went for yet another CR just now at 5:55pm (last minute booking). i always book last minute these days because its like...feel like riding then make a trip over kinda thing.

That's a good attitude in learning. Just take care to do all the right things, like blind spots, moving/stopping smartly and not wobbly, proper techniques in E stopping, riding postures especially if you start getting too used to the circuit.

Because you may unwittingly develop bad habits and ingrain it through repeated 'practices' and end up scoring large points deposit during TP, and you'll be feeling disappointed as you thought you have more 'trainings' than others. This is through my personal experience.

On the other hand, if you've been practicing the right way, keep it up. Hope you can pass your TP 1st time round. It's not the failing, it's the waiting that is the pain. :pity:

You live nearby too? I'm only 15-min walk away from SSDC!

yes, i am nearby. i'm right at the lower peirce reservoir area. even though i can walk there (and i sometimes do walk to amk central) i won't consider it walking distance :-)

I hate it when everything gets wet and slippery. Plus it gets bloody cold when you're drying up.

do you use your own rain gear or the ones from the school? those from the school gets quite nasty when wet...i agree. i use my own jacket when it rains and its a lot better. i also use my own guards so i don't have to worry about the soggy ones there in the rain.

then again, i've always liked the rain...even when i'm golfing. its just very refreshing!

Try to go for the experience'

I remember my first time riding after the rain in the circuit, I skidded twice while stopping the bike though I was really slow!

Cornering on different surface is a different ball game altogether.
