Hihi! Yep, one of those who took yesterday (1st Oct) @ SSDC. Out of 90+ of us the passing rate was around 60++ to 70. Is this considered good? I donno, but I am damm happy, cause 1st time took, 1st time passed, summore I had been taking the 2B course for many months ready, so was getting very draggy. We were all pretty nervous, cause 10 mins into the test, started to rain, -_-... many of us no confidence to ride in rain mah, esp the crank course, figure 8 and e-braking. Luckily the rain stopped soon after, although most of us had to endure the rain and wet floor while taking the test. Was impressed by the SSDC instructors though: very professional, constantly reminded us to keep calm and relaxed, and gave us all the tips to pass the test. Overall had a pleasant experience learning 2B at SSDC... and one of the last batches to take @ SSDC before they shift to Woodlands soon...

Ride Free, Ride Hard, and Ride Safe.

Current ride:Hyundai i30 CW (Sept 2016 - Present)

Yamaha FZ1-S (Aug 2014 - Present)

Suzuki GSR 600 (Jun 2012 - Sept 2013)

Haha. Hey Thanks Thanks. Yep... thats a TW200 alright. It's the 1st bike I fell in love with when I first started getting interested in bikes. I do not have a bike, yet, but planning to get one within the next month. Honestly, I can afford a TW, but I am contemplating whether or not spending 7.5K++ on it is really worth it at the moment. I did find out more about it, and no doubt its a great bike, but ya, I am still not too sure. Bajaj Pulsar seems like another great bike though. But I am keeping my options open... And yeah, was awaiting the day for a looong time, and it has arrived. 2B baby!!

saw this bike having a blind spot mirror which is very rare, is it useful for a bike. I have it on my car and find it very good and when i'm riding the bike i cant get use to it cause of the much smaller mirror

Those blind spot mirrors can be bought if I'm not mistaken.

@PolarisX: best thing to do is to talk to people who have owned the bike for the duration you want to own yours. if you are buying new, talk to people who bought new. if you are buying used, talk to people who bought used. you get the idea :)

@SparkerS1: hmmm...sounds creepy man...hahahahaha!!!

@SparkerS1: you mean a fast TW200 with sideboxes and p-plate? interesting...i also wanna know this person now...cos my TW200 max speed is only 90kph with solid vibrations which nobody can stand. so i am essentially limited to 70+kph...

Hi everyone anyone taking TP in lyk a few weeks time?

and btw is the passing rate for ssdc good recently?

sorry to disappoint you, the passing rate for SSDC is infact the lowest of all driving centres. it does not mean it's a bad thing though. i think the instructors really teach the students well, or at least most of them do. my guess is the ssdc testers might be stricter than other testers from other driving centres?

Class 2B - 26/03/2009

Class 2A - 01/06/2010

Class 3 - 10/07/2009

Rides(s)

1) Honda TA150 - 20/04/2009 to 31/08/2014

2) Honda CB400 Ver S - 12/07/2014 to ???

Highest or lowest, does it make a difference? They are just marketing tactics to appeal to those naive students to come to their DC. Ultimately, it's up to your individual skills to get the license.

passing the TP is a black art...you gotta draw a pentagram on your room floor, collect a small bit of your blood, a strand of hair, a lizard's tail and a snake's tongue...burn them all in the middle of the pentagram and recite "Omegomowa" ten times the night before...sure pass :)

disclaimer: try at your own risk! no guarantee for success.
